"North Blvd"- the feature film
How we got here...
Its hard to believe that it has been over 13 years since that incredible journey took place. Finding my birth parents was one thing- it was fascinating, exciting, mysterious and hysterical at times. The source of healing and introspection that sprung from the experience was another thing all together.
As a performer, telling the story on stage has beeen a natural outlet for me. As I have evolved as a person and as an artist, the vision for the film has become so clear. Making the short film was a way to see if I could direct a project while also performing in it.

It was a seemless and joyful experience for all, thanks to our Line Producer, who is on board for the feature film.
Its now time to make the feature film version of the story!
By contributing whatever you can...even if its just sharing the link!...you will help us get that much closer to our goal.
Thanks for watching and sharing this video! The story has touched so many people over the years and with your help, the feature film can touch so many more!

The Impact
Not all the time, but way too often, people are left feeling empty after multimillion dollar blockbusters because they lack the humanity, the spirit and the feeling of a simple story about human beings going through something.
People LOVE a personal story. A good story is what connects us to one another and makes us feel something. Its why the classic novels live on through the ages.
"North Blvd" is a true story. Spreading the word will help us make a really beautiful little film that people will watch and love :)
How the money will be used
As with most independent films, money will come from several different sources. This $60,000 will cover just the bare bones of principle photography.
While most of the other funds needed for talent, editing, color correcting, animation, travel and marketing will be brought in from private investors, I wanted to get people involved on the crowdfunding level. I know that when I have participated in other people's campaigns there is a buzz and excitement in the air that builds momentum and gets everyone (film makers and audience alike) emotionally invested. And that can be a thrill!
$60,000 is a believable sum for me in the short time we have before shooting. It would be wonderful to get more. I believe that is possible.
