There are 2.6 million breast cancer survivors in the US. After surgery, 56% are left with mastectomy scars and often, no nipples.
BREAST CANCER SUCKS.
Even if you survive, it ravages the body, complicates relationships, and leaves permanent, uninvited marks. We think that covering these scars with a different kind of mark—a tattoo—can not only help mastectomy patients reclaim their bodies, but also turn something painful into something beautiful.

WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
Consider this an investment in art—body art. Your tax-deductible contribution will help commission a beautiful work that will serve as a constant, permanent celebration of life.
But more specifically: Our base goal of $25K will fund tattoos for at least 10 survivors and allow us to produce the event.
STRETCH GOALS
If we surpass this goal (which would be awesome) we can do even more.
- $50K will fund tattoos for at least 25 more survivors in the future.
- $100K will fund tattoos for at least 50 survivors in the future.
- $250K will help us grow P.INK DAY into an annual, international event and allow us to fund tattoos for hundreds of breast cancer survivors in cities across the globe.
- $500K or more will help us establish a permanent P.INK Space—a high-end tattoo shop/spa exclusively for breast cancer survivors, with tattoo services provided free of charge.

10/25 UPDATE
The first-ever P.INK Day was a success! We had an amazing time and are so glad we've been able to connect artists with survivors to help them in their recovery process. Thanks so much to the awesome Stephanie and Scott at Saved Tattoo and the talented artists who joined us. However, we haven't yet reached our goal and still need donations to cover the event and to fund future P.INK Days. Please help us make this an annual tradition. To see more on the event, check out this HuffPost Live story on P.INK Day 2013.
