Project Summary

Paint is regarded as one of Canada's hardest-working indie rock bands, playing over 200 shows in support of 2 critically-acclaimed album releases. During this time, we have learned many valuable lessons about the music industry in the 21st century, most notably that fans, friends, and peers are truly the core of what makes a band complete. We value a grassroots approach to making music, blurring the line between the audience and the performer, and share in the experience of moving a band forward together. We firmly believe that without the support of our audience, we would not be here today, and as we move onto some exciting new projects, we are reaching out for your support in helping us achieve the next steps:

• Releasing the music video compilation DVD entitled "Capsulated," which is comprised of all 10 videos from the Where We Are Today album, bonus videos from Can You Hear Me?, and special features;
  
• Covering costs incurred for production/completion of the music video for "Boomerang" with Stratasfear Productions;
  
• Recording Paint's next EP (to be released in vinyl and digital formats); and
• Producing a narrative film to accompany the EP.

For a band as routinely busy as us to say this is probably the most active time in our career, we are testing new ground and combining all of our current endeavours into a single campaign, with many combined perks and benefits involved.

What We Need & What You Get

The entire project in all its parts is projected to cost $7500 CAD. We are pulling every favour we can and getting a lot of generous support in kind, but we are left with some baseline expenses on production, pressing, artwork, and duplication. Some perks we are offering include:

• Getting advanced digital music, artwork, and film downloads before the EP's release;
  
• All previous Paint releases on CD/digital;
• Cameo appearances in the EP film itself, and an invite to a private party with the band, cast, and crew;
• Producer credits on the "Boomerang" video and EP film; and
  
• A thank you in the liner notes for the EP.
• ALL PACKAGES ARE CUMULATIVE: at every level of donation, you will receive all of the perks of the previous levels in addition to the level you donate.
  
• EVERY PENNY HELPS, even if we do not reach the entire goal, even partial success in this campaign will go a very long way in allowing us to accomplish our goals.
