Short Summary
My name is Alejandro J Valentin and I am an aspiring actor/writer/film maker. Very passionate about independent short films and how impressed I am that more and more actors are getting there feet wet with the production side of creating a film. PhotograKILL is a short drama/thriller film I wrote about an amateur photographer finding his way into the wrong set of beautiful eyes. I believe in this project and I am completely happy and proud of what I created. Helping me fund this film will create a new wave of true and honest supporters along with creating work for fellow actors in this market of Connecticut. Building a broader region of actors and filmmakers and shining light to very talented people. "WHY" should you help fund this move? Good question. Ask yourself this, have you ever felt so low in life that everyone you thought were true and honest friends just completely forgot who you were and what you represented? Never believed in your artistry nor took you serious? That wishing you had that support from friends and family who 100% believed in you and would love to contribute to your passion and believe in the product. Those of you who now have made it and can reflect back at a time where you can relate to any of these situations and wished back then you had a better support system, could change that and donate because not only of a feeling you once felt, but because of a project that has potential and promise.
What We Need & What You Get
Break it down for folks in more detail:
- Funding will be use for equipment, transportation, locations, providing food for the whole cast on set. Also funding will be used to submit to film festivals.
- By not reaching the goal, the funds raised will still contribute to the film and will continue on with the project with the money raised.
- Different packages will have perks to them. From name in credits, to personal video thank you message, t-shirts, copy of DVD, role in film.
Other Ways You Can Help
Some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean they can’t help:
- Ask folks to get the word out and make some noise about your campaign.
- Remind them to use the Indiegogo share tools!
And that’s all there is to it.
