How to Order
Decide on the photo you’d like to get painted:
- Instagrams are square, so they go with one of the 12X12 perks
- Normal photos are rectangular, so they go with the 12X16 inch perks
- If you’d like a larger painting, either photo shape is fine

Please remember:
- We will ask for your photo after the campaign is finished; you do not need to upload it (see inforgraphic below for details)

The Nitty-Gritty: Fulfillment & Restrictions

After you purchase your painting "perk", and our 30-day campaign comes to an end, you'll get an email from us requesting your photo (and painting size for those who ordered "Anything Goes" or "Cultured Baller" rewards). Simply attach your instagram or digital photo to your reply and we'll have everything we need! Note: you can only use photos that you own or have the express permission of the owner to use.
Please keep in mind that your photo should either be square (all instagrams are) or rectangular with dimensions of 4 by 3 (the normal dimensions for most photos). Our initial email to you will give simple directions for photo cropping to the correct dimensions. Don't worry, if there are any issues with the dimensions of your photo or how to attach it we are always available on email to help.
There are limits to any painter's dexterity that make it extremely difficult to paint 10 people or a fruit stand on a small (12X12 inch) canvas. This is why we've set limits on the number of people or animals allowed in photos depending on the size of the painting. For all 12X12 or 12X16 paintings we allow a maximum of two people, two animals, or one person and one animal (ie, three is too many at these sizes). Don’t worry, we’ll let you know if your photo is too complex and help you figure out a good alternative.

Please use your best judgment in choosing your photo. To provide an example, something like this is about as intricate an image as we can accept.
This image, on the other hand, is much too intricate to paint well on a small canvas.
