What is Pixicle?
Pixicle is a photo sharing ecosystem that makes it easy to print, view and share your smartphone photos with the people close to you.
Imagine if you could print your smartphone photos at your local photo lab with a click of a button. Or view all your photos on a 40", 50" or even a 60" TV! How about sharing photo albums or several photos with people on your contact list at a touch of a button? Anything you want to do with your photos is a click away with Pixicle!
What does it do?
Print - Open up Pixicle on your iOS or Android smartphone and select the photos you want to print. Your phone's GPS will locate the closest photo lab partner, send them the photos you want to print and your photos will be ready to pick up within an hour. The photos sent to them will be in the same resolution as you took them. Pixicle will also have photo editing tools built right in to enhance your photos. No need to switch apps to add effects or remove red eye!
We are already working on getting your photos developed at over 10,000 photo lab locations across the US and Canada.
View - Pixicle is a small device that you plug into your TV's HDMI input at the back of your television, which connects to your iPhone or Android smartphone via the free app. Once you plug in the device and enter in your wifi password, start the app on your phone and start viewing your pictures on the big screen.
If someone else wants to start showing their photos, that’s easy too. Simply stop the app on your phone and they can start showing their photos from their phone in the same way. It becomes a photo sharing experience for everyone.
Pixicle is compatible with any television that has an HDMI input. It doesn't matter if you have an iPhone or an Android device, because the free Pixicle app is available for both. Just connect through your wifi and you can start sharing your photos instantly!
Share - Pixicle makes photo sharing made easy. Open up the Pixicle app on your phone and select the photos you want to share. Pick one, two, ten, or how ever many you want. Once you have chosen the photos, select the person from your contact list and hit send. The other person will get a notification that you have shared photos with them and, when they open up their Pixicle app on their phone, your shared photos will be waiting for them.

Why we need you.
All proceeds from the campaign go towards completing phase 1 of development on Pixicle.
We will also be using the funds to complete the ecosystem and put Pixicle into production so that you can get your hands on it. A large portion will go towards making the ecosystem a reality and creating the first run of the physical product.
Risks and Challenges.
There are always significant challenges in manufacturing and delivering any electronics product at scale. Mass manufacturing isn't the same as prototype development with 3D printers; we have to make sure they are secure and reliable, and also most importantly that they can be manufactured efficiently at mass volumes.
Thank you!
Whether or not you can donate, we thank you for your support. Please be sure to spread the word about our campaign through Twitter, Facebook and anywhere else you can think of! We appreciate all the help we can get and every little bit counts.
