POPESICAL is now SOLD OUT for its run at FringeNYC. Ticket perks are no longer available. Please donate and help us get to FringeEncores!
About:
The Pope is dead. The Cardinals gather in the Sistine Chapel to choose a new Pope. No one has ever seen what happens – until now. The backbiting. The sacrilege. The hilarious song-and-dance.
They
will compete in top secret “Papal Challenges” to
prove their worthiness. Masks, courtesy
and piety are stripped away as the Cardinals discover who they really are—and what it really takes to
be Pope.
The Fringe is the first step in the development of the show, and future plans include full-scale productions of POPESICAL. Maybe the Pope will request a command performance at the Vatican! (Though we're not holding our breath.)

We are engaging a remarkable cast with major credits in order to best
serve the material.
These actors are generously working for a minimal
fee, but they still need to be paid for their time and talent, and we
need to hire a staff to manage the production, marketing and
promotion of the show, as well as interfacing with producers, promoters
and the press.
