The Swedish Adrenaline
Power Meter
The Swedish Adrenaline
Power Meter is a new power meter for cyclists integrated in a pair of pedals. The
installation is simple and the power is measured in both pedals separately. The
power meter, called Hexxagon, is easy to use and compatible with both ANT+ and
Bluetooth Smart® head units. The unique RSG technology is very
stable and will give you an accurate power measurement without the need of any
wires or additional hardware. It's just a pair of pedals! If you want to measure
power while cycling, this will be your most accurate, stable and on top of that
the most affordable power meter out there.
Help us to bring our
power meter to the market. Check out the perks and decide if you want to be a
Weekend Warrior, a Roaring Supporter or even get your own Yellow Jersey so that we
can give power to the people!

How does it work?
The Swedish Adrenaline Power Meter is the only
power meter using the RSG (Resonant String Gauge) technology. This means that
the sensing element is passive with no need for electrical power and can easily be integrated into a bicycle pedal. The problem that traditional
sensors have with high costs and unstable functions can therefore be avoided.
The RSG technology works a bit like an electric guitar. The string is attached
to the axle inside the pedal. The transceiver electronics operate with high
frequency microwaves and is placed in the pedal. When the axle is bent, ever so
little, the string frequency is changed. This is picked up by the transceiver which
translates this induced power and sends it to the ANT+ or Bluetooth Smart®
cycle computer.
