As I'm here, visiting Uganda, it seems like there's so many needs that are impossible to meet. The money I have stretches so thin and the need is so great. But this is something the Lord has put on my heart and I KNOW we can accomplish it!
This weekend I went out to the village of Bijjaba and my heart was broken for the conditions these kids are living in. Because they don't have shoes, their feet have been infected with jiggers. The only way to prevent this problem is wearing shoes, which none of these kids have, and treating their already infected feet, which they don't have the money for.
Before I leave Uganda, I want to return to the village with shoes and treatment for these kids. Shoes cost only about $2 per pair, plus medication for about 300-400 kids. Any amount that anyone can give will do wonders in providing for this community, so please help any way you can!
