Thank you for your interest in the Arts & Soul Project.
This is a capital campaign to establish and operate an expressive arts studio in the community for the community.
The Soul(Art)iculation™ Studio is the magical place where men, women and children come to encounter and express their feelings in a tangible way. It is a sacred space where experiencing the power of art making transforms the art maker. Studio clients learn to allow their soul’s story to come forth. Via their creative practice, the client sustains and flourishes in increased vitality, wellness and joy.
Artist-Healer Leah Young returned to college at forty-three where she experienced an awakening via her own art making. “My teacher nurtured the spirit of art within me without judgment. As a result, through my inner art maker, I reconnected with my creative voice and my soul’s story. ”
Her experience led Leah to synthesize her professional skills as a coach, trainer, reiki master, therapeutic guided imagery facilitator, interfaith minister and sound healer with her newly discovered creative process into a multimodal expressive arts system known as Soul(Art)iculation™. More simply, the system is a way to play with sound, imagery, writing, movement, painting, and drawing, to access and give voice to the client’s deepest feelings for improved quality of life.
The Arts & Soul Project aims to create an open studio environment within which clients can cultivate their soul’s voice through the expressive arts.
The Soul(Art)iculation™ Studio offers a combination of expressive arts healing programs including Young’s own Journaling Your Journey visual journaling program, her Soul’s Story™ Arts Play experience, other non-directive arts process such as drawing, sculpture, collage, mixed-media and guest artist programs. Services will be offered to participants on a sliding scale.
“The vision is to make art, cultivate our soul’s voice and to be of service doing the work that I love.”
The first studio is slated to open in Las Vegas, Nevada Fall 2013. “Eventually, we see the concept changing the face of the global community. Art lives in every soul.”

The Impact
In the short term your participation in funding and co-creating this project will result in a physical space and operating resources for the Soul(Art)iculation Community Arts Studio.
The far reaching impact is incalculable for the local community as well as globally. There is a great deal of research to show the benefits of the arts on artists and their audiences. Making art is cathartic. Art making is a safe, non-judging way for our soul to express our feelings. It shifts emotion. Happier, less stressed people make for a happier, less stressful world.
I am committed to sharing with the world how it feels to make art, to sing, dance and paint. I am committed to having fun, feeling good and voicing soul. I am committed to opening and operating this community studio. I am committed to guiding people to happiness, wholeness and less stress. Feel free to check out my resume here
Join me and find out how it feels to be instrumental in creating a happier, less stressful world. Participate, fund and co-create.
