WHO WE ARE

Project Dispatch is a mail order artwork subscription service that was started in 2009 with the idea of creating a space for artists to get exposure and sell their work, as well as a place for collectors to begin acquiring artwork and engaging directly with the artists involved.

Our subscriptions range from $30 per month to $90 per month, customizable for durations of 3, 6, or 12 months. We currently have 22 artist members, and subscribers can receive original artwork from the artist of their choice each month, or be surprised by a new artist with each installment. 

Project Dispatch is centered around collecting, and we want to take our ideas a step further and encouraging collecting on the most basic level...TRADING CARDS! This campaign is to raise money to professionally produce a large run of artist trading cards that will include reproductions of works made specifically for the project by all 22 artists.

We hope to expand our appeal with these trading cards by interacting with a variety of retail venues and broadening our reach to a wider audience to gain more exposure for our artists. These trading cards will encourage revenue that will sustain Project Dispatch and help us grow, so that we can continue to bring you artwork in the form of monthly subscriptions!  

WHAT WE NEED

Our goal for this project is to raise $8,500 to cover the costs of design, layout, and production of the cards, as well as payment to artists, shipping, and production costs of the awesome perks that we are offering as a thank you for your support. 

Here is the breakdown:

Digital Conversion of original cards - $100

Design and Layout of unique cards, front and back - $500

Cost to produce through Choice Marketing, Inc. Sports Cards - $5,350 (this quote includes 2,500 packs with 8 cards per pack and 44 unique cards, with foil imprinted wrapper)

Cost of gum to include in each pack - $450

Estimated cost of offered perks, payment to artists, and shipping - $2,100

TOTAL = $8,500
