Project S phone  is our vision of the perfect smartphone - delivering on all fronts, with countless innovative features, and world class specs.

We are a small company with big ideas - with the simple goal of delivering better mobile life to people. Each of us has a real passion for electronics and high quality consumer products. Project S is supported by BungBungame (founded in 2008), which is headquartered in Taiwan, with a subsidiary in Ginza, Tokyo. BungBungame specializes in mobile applications and tablets design.

For understanding consumers’ needs, we have studied the consumer usage and worked with Consumer Behavior Experts for years. As a result, we have already successfully launched 2 generations of tablets over Taiwan, Japan and USA.

Our reason for starting Project S is simple: there are no low-cost and high quality smartphone that meets most of consumers’ needs. In fact, all high-tech smartphones are a staggering $750~$849, rendering them unaffordable to most customers.

In 2012, we decided to design a solution to this problem ourselves. With your help, we will be ready to take Project S into production.

We have been working on this for 2 years.
We have flown round the world and back, met with tech experts, manufactures, and sourced everything along the product lifecycle. We’ve done the whole nine yards to find the best suppliers and manufactures. We have hand-picked our product partners to ensure that we can deliver quality parts, on time and cost effectively. 

Our suppliers and manufactures have promised to produce with the small quantities. But they would need to know our estimated number of units needed before they begin production. We take this last step seriously, and will need a lot of support to do the job right. That is the reason why we have turned to Indiegogo to get the production lines up and running. We believe we can reach the goal with you suport!

Since we have already finished our initial studies and research about designing a smartphone and how to solve the tech problems, we need your support for purchasing components and patent application costs.

Project S is equipped many great functions and powerful spec, which has never all come together in any single device. To ensure the innovative new user interface and powerful hardware can function together harmoniously, we have to test to make sure that everyone who supports our project will receive only the highest quality smartphone.

For the production line, we need your support to secure procurement of long lead components and meet the minimum order quantities required by our suppliers and manufactures.

A smartphone needs a smart packing. We only have one earth. With a mimal, yet strong design, we will design the packaging without any unnecessary fluff while using only eco-friendly materials.

The amount of funding we require to achieve the final milestones is $500,000. We hope you will find it in your heart to help us deliver this long sought after, valuable and powerful technology.

To achieve the level of meeting consumers’ needs, and ensure to make it real. We have to design and test for many times. We have discussed with many tech experts and manufactures. And some of features have already been tested and proven successful.

Since we have successfully launched 2 generations of tablets, we have been working with some reliable suppliers, manufactures and logistics consultants. As a result, with the hardware, Project S, is well managed and we have experience in successfully bringing products to the market, as well as managing the supply chain, production line, and logistics.

Consumer Electronic is our business, but design is our passion. Project S willneed some additional development when we reach our goal. Such as work to improve user interface and advance even further the hardware.

A: Yes, you will need to add $30 for international shipping if you aren’t living in Taiwan, Canada or United States of America.

Q: Do you have plans of releasing Project S in the future?

A: Without your support, the dream will not be realized. Our first priority now is to get this in hands of user everywhere.

Q: When will my Project S phone arrive?

A: We are already working hard to plan our supply chain and manufacturing operations to make sure you get your Project S phone as soon as possible. We feel it is safe to set the target in November 2014 for our first full-production shipments in Taiwan, Canada and USA.

Q: What countries and mobile networks will support Project S?

A: Project S is an unlocked smartphone. It works in all countries that provide GSM/3G/4G LTE based network services around the world.
