L'aspetto Punk di Bologna
Da un’idea di Fabrizio Fantini – filmmaker e producer - e Luciano
Attinà – filmmaker indipendente di giorno e vampiro di notte -
nasce il primo Punkumentary DiY d’Italia sull'aspetto Punk a Bologna.
PunK.@.BO è il resoconto di un anno e mezzo d’inseguimento dei punk di
Bologna nei centri occupati, nei centri sociali e durante i concerti
organizzati nei locali dell’underground bolognese, dall’inverno 2011 a oggi, ed
è una produzione indipendente che non ha ricevuto alcun tipo di finanziamento.
A oggi sono state registrate 56 ore di ripresa in HD [molte delle
quali concerti dal vivo], che aspettano di essere organizzate e montate in un
filmato di circa 50 minuti.
La raccolta fondi ci serve per coprire i costi di post-produzione e
distribuzione, perché se fino ad oggi abbiamo messo del nostro – attrezzatura,
lavoro, fatica – siamo arrivati a un punto in cui dobbiamo sostenere dei costi
per finirlo. Il crowfunding ci sembra anche il modo più DIY per distribuirlo,
perché oltre a contribuire alla causa riceverete copia del DVD o la password
per il digital download, a seconda di quanto deciderete di donare. Vorremmo che
il nostro pubblico si sentisse parte del progetto per questo vi invitiamo a
dialogare con noi attraverso i social e vi diamo anche la possibilità di
raccontarci la vostra storia ed entrare negli extra.
Fate crescere questo progetto, parlatene agli amici, condividetelo sui
social, entrate a far parte della realizzazione di un vero progetto audiovisivo
indipendente.
Dove andranno i vostri soldi?
Abbiamo stabilito una somma di 6660€ per coprire questi costi:
-
post-produzione audio-video (montaggio audio-video, sincronizzazione musiche, grafiche, color correction, authoring);
-
duplicazione di circa 500 copie del DVD per la distribuzione DYI in Italia, attraverso banchetti e vendita diretta;
- iscrizione e spedizione a festival e rassegne
- traduzione e sottotitolazione in lingua inglese per distribuzione all'estero
Per ogni contributo offriamo numerose ricompense, tra le quali la
felpa ufficiale di Punk.@.BO, il DVD del
documentario, cimeli e “reliquie” di concerti o avvenimenti punk, il CD del
gruppo punk Intothebaobab and many more.
Abbiamo deciso di utilizzare la piattaforma Indiegogo perchè ci
permette una certa flessibilità nella raccolta fondi: se il target non viene
raggiunto ci impegneremo a trovare altre forme di finanziamento e terminare il
lavoro, probabilmente ci metteremo più tempo ma le vostre rewards sono comunque
garantite. Se raccoglieremo più soldi, invece, li investiremo nella
distribuzione e nella promozione. Molti di voi ci hanno chiesto di organizzare
eventi e mostre per non spegnere i riflettori dopo aver concluso il lavoro: non
appena vedremo quanto riusciamo a raccogliere grazie al vostro aiuto,
decideremo insieme come proseguire.
Perché puntare sul primo punkumentary italiano?

è solo il primo step di un progetto sulla sottocultura più maltrattata e incompresa degli ultimi
anni. Per mostrare Bologna, la Berlino
degli anni '80, in versione meno dotta e più punk.

The PunK attitude of Bologna
From an idea by Fabrizio Fantini, filmmaker and
producer, and Luciano Attinà, filmmaker by day and vampire by night, is born
the first Italian DiY punkumentary about the punk attitude in Bologna.
PunK.@.BO is the outcome of
one-year-and-a-half chase of Bologna's punks in community centers, squats and
concerts held in the underground clubs of the city, from winter 2011 until
today, and it is an independent production that have not received any kind of
financing yet.
To date we have 56 hours of shooting in HD format
[many of which are live concert], that are waiting to be organized and edited
into a 50-minutes movie.
The crowdfunding campaign is necessary to cover the
post-prodution and distribution costs: if up to now we've wrung out our
technical equipment, working hours and efforts, now it's time to invest money
to get it over.
Indiegogo seems the best DiY way to distribute it,
because as well as to contributing to the cause, you will receive the DVD copy
or the password for the digital download, depending on how much you decide to
donate. We want our audience be part of the project and we invite you to talk
to us through the social networks, and share your opinion. If you think you can
be part of the story there is a special perk that allow you to come in our
studio, tell your punkitude in front of a camera and get inside the extra of
the DVD.
How will we use
your money?
We need 6660 € to cover these costs:
-
post-production (audio-video editing, music sync,
artwork, graphic, color correction, authoring);
-
duplication of about 500 DVD copies for a DiY
distribution, in Italy;
-
subscription and shipping to festivals in Italy;
-
English translation and subtitling for a foreign
distribution.
For each contribution we offer hell of rewards,
including the official PunK.@.BO sweatshirt, the DVD or the Blu-Ray of the
documentary, relics of punk concerts and events, Intothebaobab's CD and much
more.
We decided to use Indiegogo because it allows to us to
give some flexibility to our fundraising; if the goal is not reached we will find
the way to gather other sources and finishing the work. Probably it will take
longer, but your rewards are guaranteed in any case. If we will raise more
money, instead, we will invest in distribution and promotion.
Many of you have asked us to organize events and
exhibitions so that the limelight won't be switched off once the work is
finished: as soon as it will be clear how much we can gather with your help, we
will decide together how to proceed.
Why bet on the
first italian punkumentary ?
PunK.@.BO is the first step of a bigger
project about one of the most misunderstood and mistreated sub-cultures of the
recent years. We want as well to show a different aspect of Bologna city, less “intellectual” and more punk, the city known as “the Berlin of the 80’s”.
