In 2012, YouTube reached more than 6 billion hours of video views, with only a very small percentage getting back to the creators through their Partner program which is focused on click through rates and monthly payouts rather than a direct relationship between artist and fan. Creators are getting little to no royalties from Facebook, Spotify and Pandora.

We began development of this media platform in order to help artists be more successful and to give fans a place to appreciate art without advertising. Now, PurifyArt.com is officially released and working towards new updates, offering the public a social service that brings integrity to art online.

As we continue to develop Purify Art, we need help to complete the next and most important stage of the site’s production, which is where you come in. 

We need a more user-friendly design and site experience, including a responsive header and media player, and new features like  profiles to sell and promote art services, grant and crowdfunding tools, and additional integration with your favorite web services like Flickr, Drop Box and Shutterfly for on demand direct to fan print sales. Lastly, we need your contributions and feedback to have the funds to build this new version of the site with the features and tools you need and want as fans and artists.
