Short Summary

This is a one time deal in where we are going to right a wrong and put someone away who truly deserves it, but we NEED YOUR HELP.

What We Need & What You Get

Break it down for folks in more detail:

  • 500.00 US will cover the days lost of employment for Mr. Amos Wallace, so he can go to court to testify against Mr. Raymond Martineau and retrieve his stolen property.
  • You get the satisfaction of knowing that you helped put a person behind bars who is an Habitual Offender and has been deemed such.

Download a unique "Karma Warrior" badge for your 5, or 10 dollar US pledge.

The funds will go to Homeless Recovery in Tampa, if our goal is unmet. They got me back on my feet when I was homeless and I am forever and always grateful to them!

The Impact

This is a personal pledge taken by me. The neighbor who was targeted and had his beloved classic collectible Tampa Bay Buccaneers FootBall Helmet sign stolen is a member of the "lower class", as am I. By chance, his name is Amos Wallace. The video tape shows that on the night in question, which was back in October of 2012, Raymond Martineau stole his sign. Amos wants his original sign back and had Ray arrested. Bond was set at 30,000.00, along with misdemeanor domestic abuse and theft and running from a police officer. It's an old story and Ray has jousted with justice for years and been in and out of prison.

It's one of the reasons he has this sense of entitlement. After Wade died though (the scenario where it was just Wade and Ray and I still wonder), he's just gotten meaner and more in people's faces and that is bad. Ray needs to go away and he's playing the system. Amos has to take days off of work, without pay.

I propose that WE pay Amos Wallace for any work  days missed in June (about 4-5), so we can put this little psychopath, back behind bars, where he belongs. If possible, I propose to also appear as a character witness.

I'm pretty good with things like this, although I have never done and Indiegogo. The neighbors thought it was a good idea. As we have the crime on tape, I'm not perjuring myself and will testify only to what I've observed.

I was in the homeless shelter when Ray lived there and I can attest to his cold attitude and ways. He never hesitated to run down his girlfriend of the moment when she was not in earshot. He constantly begged for money and if  it wasn't forthcoming, he would berate us as if we should be falling all over ourselves to give him 20 cents. He's broken into people's houses and he stole people's wallets in the shelter. He would steal and sell other people's bus passes and bicycles. He either had the worst luck in the world, or was just that rapacious. I suspect the latter.

Other Ways You Can Help

I truly understand that folks are strapped and this is a pretty quixotic Indiegogo project. There really is nothing tangible at the end. It's about doing the right thing and undercutting someone who isn't doing that. I have little to offer; just the notion that it is the right thing to do. Oh yeah, and some kind of horrible badge that I will make up and send to anyone who donates anything. Some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean they can’t help:

  • Ask folks to get the word out and make some noise about your campaign.
  • Remind them to use the Indiegogo share tools!

And that’s all there is to it.
