Qardio was founded by Marco Peluso and Rosario Iannella. The catalyst was when Marco's father suffered a stroke and doctors struggled to diagnose its origin. They didn't have sufficient information and there was no easy way to get it. Existing solutions were clumsy, impractical and intrusive. Marco and Rosario set about creating a range of sensors for the heart that would be an effortless pleasure to use while providing comprehensive, high-quality data to both the user and to their doctor.
QardioArm is the first of these sensors but only a few months behind is QardioCore, our revolutionary wearable ECG belt. Watch this space!

Hundreds of users have already been using QardioArm.
We have already completed the development, setup the manufacturing and made regulatory filings for QardioArm in the US and Europe. We are using world class manufacturing facilities certified to the highest standards (ISO 13485, ISO 9001) and Fairlabor audited. In fact, we have already placed our first manufacturing order for several thousand units, which we will ship as soon as final regulary clearance is in place. Our cloud platform is already fully deployed and the iOS app is ready.
For our other products, we're meantime also working hard to bring QardioCore to market later this year.

When Will I Get QardioArm?
If you live in the US or European Union, QardioArm is in the final stage of clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (for the US) and certification under EU Product Directives (for Europe). We will ship to each market as soon as clearances are received which is currently expected to be in March 2014. If you live in other markets, please follow us for further updates.

What Smartphones or Tablets Are Compatible With QardioArm?
You can use QardioArm with iPhone 4S or later, iPad Air, iPad 3rd generation or later, iPad mini, or iPod Touch 5th generation or later.
How Do I Get The App?
QardioArm works with the companion Qardio app, which is compatible with iOS 6.0 or later. Qardio app will be available for free at the Apple App Store before the QardioArm is shipped.
Will QardioArm Also Work with Android Based Devices?
The device supports Bluetooth 4.0 enabled devices. An Android app is on our roadmap.
The Device Seems Rather Sophisticated. Will It Be Difficult To Set Up And Operate?
Absolutely not. User friendliness is our top priority. The device features several innovations to achieve that. For example, the pairing procedure is a patent pending, one step process. No more code entering and registrations. You simply place your QardioArm on top of your iOS device. That's it!
Can I Control Who Can See My Data?
You are always in control of your information. You decide who can see it by inviting them to follow your data and you can change your mind at any time.
Will My Doctor Need Any Special Equipment Or Software To View My Data?
Not at all. Provided you give them access, your doctor will be able to view your information on their iPad or on a web app using their regular browser.
How Long Is The Battery Life?
QardioArm comes with a pre-installed set of batteries. Each set of batteries lasts for several hundred measurements, which typically corresponds to over a year of regular monitoring. When the batteries run out, you can simply replace them with a new set of regular AAA batteries.
Does It Come With A Manual?
QardioArm comes with a Quick Guide as well as a User Manual. It is important you read this carefully.
Is There A Warranty?
Yes, every QardioArm comes with a 3 year warranty.
