There’s nothing like a crying, hungry baby to get a parent thinking, “There has to be a better way.” That’s exactly what I was thinking as I watched my wife try to prepare a bottle of formula at a restaurant while our infant fussed.  Necessity, “the mother of invention”, spurred us to launch Quix Products.

What is the Quix bottle and why is it needed?

Mixed powdered formula has only about a one hour shelf life, ruling out premixing at home before going out with a child.  When your infant decides he/she is hungry, time is of the essence.  Scooping formula into a water bottle and screwing on the nipple is messy and stressful when your child is crying or screaming to be fed, especially in a public location.  Mixing separate containers in an uncontrolled environment can also lead to contamination. Premixed formula avoids some of these problems but is on average 8-10 times more costly.

The Quix bottle is a patented, award-winning design that keeps baby formula and water separate in a two-container bottle until the moment of need.  Then, with just a twist of the valve and a shake of the bottle a parent can immediately and safely feed their hungry child.  No mess, less stress.
