Reality Not Included is a comic anthology that shows the talents of the illustrators and animators from Brigham Young University. This is not a college-backed project, just a big group of friends and colleagues who wanted to get together and show what we can do as artists and story-tellers. Our motley little crew ranges from college students just getting their feet wet to professional artists who work in prestigious studios in the animation industry. Our participants specialize in different fields such as concept art, illustration, character animation, and storyboarding. Each artist creates their own comic or illustration thus bringing their own unique styles and abilities to the book.

 

        Our goal is to raise at least $4,000 to print extra books along with additional materials to sell at Dragon Con in Altanta, Georgia. All funds go to printing and binding the books, posters, transportation of our materials to Atlanta, and to printing and shipping all incentives to our donors. We already have many books printed, but we need to print a lot more for the convention.

        More importantly, your donations help our artists with their careers. Conventions like Dragon Con are fantastic opportunities for us to network and publicize our work. The entertainment industry is rapidly getting more and more competitive, making it harder for us to find work after college. We created this book with the idea of giving our arists an opportunity to get their feet in the door.

        

       We are very lucky to have such a talented, dedicated group that can produce top quality work. Our artists are either BYU students or BYU alumni. Our training comes from our faculty, from our favorite comics and movies, from each other, and, for some of us, international art academies. We are also including special guest artist, Matt Armstrong from Disney Interactive in our anthology.        We have posted all incentives to the right in the perks. What you get depends on the amount you choose to donate. We have all sorts of exciting perks for you that range from posters, to books, to even a piece of artwork from one of the artists!

 

       

 

       Shipping to locations in the United States are covered. We will include tracking information for all orders shipped internationally. All international donors must pay the following shipping costs:

North America:  $10

Western Europe* and Australia: $15

All other countries and continents: $20

      To pay for international shipping, you must add the fee manually by adding the necessary amount to your pledge.

*United Kingdom, France, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Norway, Finland, Sweden,Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Ireland.

 

      It's simple! Select one of the perks on the right side of the screen. They're the grey buttons lined up top to bottom. Click on the amount you wish to donate or which package you want, and that's that! Remember that you are not charged for your donation until the campaign is finished.
