Reno or Bust!

Rachel and Stephanie Smith are sisters/artists who collaborated on an art show entitled Isolated Insodents.  This show will be in the Holland Project Gallery in Reno, Nevada from August 12-31st.  We have spent the past six months working on this show and we are going down to give a free lecture and Q and A at the gallery on the opening night August 17th.

We need some help with traveling costs so that we can continue to make art without a financial delay.  The art making proccess takes a considerable amount of time and money that may never be regained via sales.  However we feel that the impact of our show is not only benefical to us, but to all those who will see and interact with it in Reno.

The art show is about isolation and transformation and how it effects soceity and the indivual.  With that said we would like to break our annomimty and isolation as artists by being able to interact with the viewers at the gallery.

The Holland Project is a art and music community centered gallery and we feel that attending the opening will enable conversations and connections that would not happen otherwise.  We want to share and gain ideas from the experience.
