Kurtwood Smith - lead role as Commissioner Thompson.
Our Wishes
Do you love thrillers as we do? Then please help us making a good one. We want to put every single dollar on the screen and with your help it can come through. In exchange we can offer small gifts but the must important thing is for you to have a great movie experience. Our gifts range from dvd's and end credits to premiere tickets.
Our Testament
We want to make this film because we are missing those old thrillers that are true to the genre. We want to explore the psychological aspect that gives the movie another dept.
The Thriller/Suspense genre is something we are passionate about and fully master. Together we have 30 years of experience in the film industry as producers, directors, cinematographers and video technicians and everything in between. Thanks to our competence in key areas we know how to make great and cost effective films. We are certain that we have written a thriller screenplay that is not only terrifying, but also emotionally moving.
Earlier this year we produced a promotion video to test our idea in short cinematic form. You'll find a short and a long version together with Behind the scenes-footage.
The Plot
"Be careful what you wish for, it can come true."
Frank Evans is an ex-clown and nowadays a circus owner. Funny isn't it? No, life is not without difficulties. Frank has conflicts with his business partner, the need of taking care of his old mother, a wife nagging constantly. But nothing is particularly tragic, these are common problems that most people have. Our character is on his way from work and becomes a hero in the traditional sense. He rescues an unknown man, Eric Harmon, from drowning.
On the way to the hospital Frank tells Eric Harmon about his own life problems. They discuss about the obligations one have to parents, colleagues, loved ones and so on. The conversation between them begins to look more and more like a therapy session. The only problem is that all of this is being told to Eric Harmon, a violent maniac, who just escaped from the psyche ward and killed several guards.
Frank takes Eric Harmon to a gas station where they say farewell. Eric Harmon is thankful but gratitude from a maniac has an entirely different meaning; releasing Frank from his obligations and kill everyone close to him.
Eric Harmon embarks on his plan. Systematically he frees Frank, who is completely unaware, from his obligations to his family, relatives, business partner and mistress. In order not to be free, from the maniac's perspective, Frank must stop him. This is complicated by the fact that Commissioner Thompson suspects Frank and conducts an investigation against him.
