"REUNION" LOGLINE:
Former rock stars Brad Norton and Grant Foley dream of their band's return to the limelight when a strange woman, Mia, shows up at their door. Trapped in their home during the heavy stormy night, the mystery unravels when Brad discovers Mia's obsession with him is guided by a sinister dark spirit. She's convinced Brad kidnapped her long-lost son, and will stop at nothing until he confronts his painful past in this spine-chilling action filled, life-and-death drama.
Jack Turner (middle) and Sarah Schreiber (right) get into character with the director.
OUR STORY:
We bring experience from Emmy-award winning TV shows, studios such as Lionsgate, and feature films such as "Pirates of the Caribbean," "Star Trek: Into Darkness," and "The Dark Knight." By collaborating and assembling a crew of well-respected talent, we've formed a dedicated team of diverse industry professionals.
Starting with a rock solid screenplay written by Bert Havird, we recruited some excellent undiscovered talent, including up-and-coming actors Sarah Schreiber, Cara Santana, Reign Morton, Arielle Brachfeld, and Leif Gantvoort. We feature a young heartthrob Jack Turner and veteran actor-producer Maria Olsen.
Inside the green room with our actors. From left to right: Reign Morton, Veronica Rodarte (wardrobe), Cara Santana, and Maria Olsen.
We shot with a Red camera in 4K. We also plan on finishing our post-production workflow in 4K, so we're capable of handling the new Sony projectors being installed in theaters across the country. In essence, we've assembled all the components of a professional feature film production outside the traditional Hollywood system so we have complete creative control over our work. It is an ambitious goal. We encourage the public to take this very rare opportunity and get involved.
At the end of the day, it's about telling an engaging story with wonderful characters you care about.

WHAT WE NEED:
Right now, we need to finish post-production. This includes music, visual effects, online coloring, sound design, dubbing our dialogue (ADR), additional editing, and/or shoot additional pickups. In order to maintain the high level of quality and finish this film the right way, we need to solidify our workflow. And we need your help to do this. Every cent that we collect will go on the big screen. For a movie our size and our budget, it's important that every cent we collect is used for the purposes of making the movie and not wasted. In a time when Hollywood productions go well over $200 million dollars, we are shooting ours for over 1000% less. Our cast and crew know they have special talents and are working for the opportunity to launch long-term careers in the feature film world. Basically, everyone succeeds when the film succeeds. We want to reduce cost and maximize value and create a win-win situation for everyone involved.
In return for your support... YOU JOIN US AS KEY MEMBERS OF TEAM REUNION TO BRING THIS WONDERFUL FILM TO THEATERS NATIONWIDE.
(For investors over $20,000 wishing to collect a ROI, business plans and advanced screenings in the edit bay are available. Please contact the filmmakers for more information if you fall in this category.)

SUMMARY:
In a time when Hollywood is only interested in the next remake, spin-off, or sequel, we envisioned a truly original independent film WE want to share. But we need your help to make it to the finish line.

Maria leads the charge and goes through her daily routine.
Making a film is a team effort. We live and die by that philosophy. Every dollar we collect in donations will go a long way towards helping us make this movie the right way, free from the commercial demands studios would force us to obey. With your help, we will have the creative freedom and flexibility to create something unique, break stereotypes, and cross cultural boundaries. This is the first project in our slate and there will be more to come. We assembled all the right pieces to put ourselves in a good position, and we need your help to finish.
Please help us get the word out!!! You can also use the "Indiegogo share tools" and let your friends know. This is the start of our publicity campaign, and we will connect with our fan base on a more intimate level.
We appreciate all your help and look forward to sharing this journey with you. Your donations are very much appreciated.
THANK YOU!
Quotes from the team:
“We rely on our team’s passion and dedication to bring our vision to life,” says Shawn Chou, the director. “The most important thing is to tell a story about a ghost who tries to reunite his lookalike twin with this mysterious murderer. It’s filled with twists and turns. Ultimately, we ask tough questions about why people repress their memories to cope with life.”
"I broke through a wall in the bathroom during the one take I got to use a real hammer," says Maria, who initiated the project. "I was involved in shattering a very real bathroom mirror seconds before the fake mirror could be brought in. My stunt-punch grazed Jack's nose. I enjoyed - or rather, my character enjoyed wandering around outside soaking wet at 3am, hiding out in a dark garage armed with a baseball bat and getting to know how to use a tomahawk. I just enjoyed getting to grips with my role (of Mia), coming to an understanding of her twisted psyche and figuring out exactly what makes her tick. I've never had an experience like this shoot. It was exhilarating, sublime and exhausting all at the same time. I can't wait to shoot the rest of our scenes."
“Working on Reunion was a wonderful experience for me. I learned a lot from the role, and would love to take him through the remainder of his arc, and finish my work on Brad, who is quite different to me,” says Jack. “It's an incredibly interesting relationship to investigate and Maria is wonderful to act with, with all its myriad complexities, amnesia, abuse, and sexual tensions. There are a lot of complexities to the film that we didn't get the opportunity to fully realize, and I would relish the chance.”
“My weeks on the set of Reunion were less like a reunion and more like getting to know a whole new family,” says Maria.
"You want people who are in the trenches with you, who have your back, and who show up everyday because they believe in the project," says Arielle. "It's a dark movie, but when you have lovely, awesome people working themselves to the bone right alongside you, it helps keep your sanity!"
“I had a good feeling about this project from the start,” says Reign, a regular on General Hospital. “I’m very proud of the team for sticking to what they believe. There aren’t a lot of warriors left out there. We didn’t allow circumstance to redirect our path.”
