Support this campaign and invest in solar energy for our communities.

For every $1 donated Kehilla will save $2 over the life of the solar energy system.

For every $1 donated RE-volv will be able to invest $3 more in solar.

So every $1 donated generates an additional $5 worth of benefit!

Do you support renewable energy? Do you want to help build a clean energy future in our communities today? If so, you’ve come to the right campaign!

By supporting this campaign, you will help finance a solar energy system for the Kehilla Community Synagogue. This will save them $130,000 during the life of the system. Plus it'll replace grid electricity that would have emitted 14,490 lbs. of carbon dioxide each year, with clean solar energy! More importantly, you will be investing in our Solar Seed Fund, a revolving fund that pays your donation forward to create solar energy projects today and tomorrow.

How it works

By donating to the Solar Seed Fund, you’re investing in this solar energy project and future projects for other nonprofits and cooperatives. The Solar Seed Fund pays for solar energy installations on local community centers that pay RE-volv back over time through the savings on their energy bill. RE-volv reinvests the principal and the revenues it earns on each project into additional solar projects—an average of 3 to 5 projects! By investing in the Solar Seed Fund you will multiply your donation over time as we continually invest in more projects. All donations to this campaign are tax-deductible.

About our perks

All of our perks were selected carefully by our team to support your passion for the environment and to help you reduce your carbon footprint. Take your RE-volv tote bag with you to the grocery store, or use it to pack up your essentials to go hiking. Power up with your very own solar-powered phone charger. Have dinner with our team to learn more about RE-volv or we will even send our Executive Director straight to you and your community. No matter how much you donate, we hope you enjoy our gift to you!
