This is not your ordinary, everyday star-studded, dark comedy/mockumentary.
This is #RIP
Lydia Walters is an Award winning actress who's trying to keep her relevancy intact by trending on Twitter. (She's @AwardsYellIt, you should go Tweet her now!)
A documentary was being made about Lydia when she died under unusual circumstances, not quite understood by her "Friends"
The majority of the film takes place at her memorial service, where we meet the rest of the cast.
This is a hilarious dark comedy, intermixed with documentary footage of her friends, all of whom add real insight to what made Lydia tick.

Here's what we need and why:
We are trying to raise $8000 to get this little gem out there.
- Insurance is going to run about $1000.
- We will need to provide a total of about 90 meals plus beverages and snacks for our actors and crew at a cost of around $900.
- Props, Wardrobe and Makeup are expected to cost about $650.
- Equipment fees and rentals are estimated at $500.
- Air travel and expenses, location fees and other incidentals could run into the $2000 range.
- Post production (Editing, sound design) will cost around $1250.
- Advertising, copies of photos and DVD's is estimated to cost around $800.
Once it's all said and done, there are still festival submisssion fees that we expect could rack up another $1500+
This is all before our actors and most of our crew get paid.

The Impact
This is my fourth film as Producer and third as Director. Coming off the high of winning an award for Directing "Love, Simple", I wanted to do something different.
When I got the idea for this film, I knew that I was going to need a "name" as our lead actress. I had no idea that I would be so lucky as to get Missi Pyle. Naomi Grossman, whose career catapulted this past summer as "Pepper" on season 2 of American Horror Story, signed on early in the process - even before we had a final script.
I can't believe how fortunate I've been so far. #ForeverGrateful
I was able to put together an amazing cast and crew of big names and notable local talent on both sides of the camera. With several awards, and decades of film making experience between us, the #RIP team plans to take over the film festival world for the next 18 months and garner enough strength to catapult each and every cast and crew member to an outrageous level of stardom.
We will be submitting to many festivals, including Sundance, SXSW, AFF, Toronto, Tiburon as well as a lot of comedy festivals all over the world.
But first we need your help:
