Dearest Friends, Family and Guests of The Noble (Most of you are essentially all three,)
The inevitable time of need has finally returned. We signed a lease to this restaurant home almost two years ago with very little money, very little credit, HUGE dreams and ambition, and an absolutely invaluable amount of support from many of you whom we still see regularly. The Noble has been exciting and successful, in many ways even from the start, beyond any of our most modest or wildest dreams. Our first days in business (with a few bottles of wine and beer, one bottle of whiskey, no food or ice, but a lively karaoke machine) were amazing and terrifying to say the least. This tiny restaurant has grown into a quality dining establishment, fulfilling our goals of serving honest, affordable food with our own unique touch of comfort.
That being said; from the second the pen touched the lease for the building, we knew we were operating on somewhat borrowed time. We were very aware that the landlord was primarily interested in selling the property rather than leasing. The Noble is reaching the end of this borrowed time. However, THRILLINGLY, our dream has proven itself valid! For the first time, financing to own this little piece of Walker's Point is a realistic proposition! If we can succeed in raising enough money from our generous and supportive "family" for part of the mortgage down payment, we can continue to grow. We can utilize the entire building to continue giving you the best experience we can possibly give.
Thank you in advance for your support. I assure you, as I did before we even had a business plan, that you will not be disappointed with what we have in store.
Sincerely,
David Kressin, and April "soon to be" Kressin
