Welcome to the 'All pinned up' Indiegogo. The fact that you are on my page already makes you an amazing person simply for sheer interest in my project!! But what exactly is my project about and how can you help out? Well to answer that let me tell you about my company, myself and this collection to try and answer that.
' Scarlette and Indigo' is a fashon design company that gauges young ladies ages 16 to 26 who have a passion for fashion. My company attaches itself to three main style groups: The Scarlettes, The Indigo's and The Inbetweeners. The Scarlettes are young adults who have a more sassy, fun ,eccentric approach to fashion girls who enjoy leather skirts and cheetah print bustiers usually fall into this catergory. Then there are the Indigo's girls who have a laid back look on life girls who enjoy maxi skirts,flowy white dresses and oversized tees. Lastly, there are the Inbetweeners girls who like both and that dont fall into the categories of Scarlettes or Indigo's but girls who fall into both!
Alrighty a little bit about me!! Well if you checked out my video (if you havent do so now!) You already know that my name is Alia White and I am the owner and head designer of Scarlette and Indigo! I started working in fashion about about 5 years ago honing my craft at the feeble age of 13.I have plans to hopefully attend fashion design school in fall of 2014. I decided to create Scarlette and Indigo because i always knew that being a fashion designer was something that i would always love doing and you know what they say "when you do something you love it doesnt feel like work". Scarlette and Indigo is my baby! In September 2012 Scarlette and Indigo made her first apperance to the world on Etsy.com and since then my company has been making good success in the fashion industry. In the future i would like to extend my store around the world with brick and mortar stores but until then i will be selling my designs on Etsy.
' All Pinned Up' is the title of the my newest clothing collection it encompasses everything cute, fun and flirty involving the 50's pin up girls. What could possibly be better? The line itself has a very fun summery approach to it (personally im obsessed with it). Like all designers i've created a mood board to help conceptualize the ideas behind the pin up line.
