According to the Center of Disease Control and Prevention, one out of three adults age 65 and older falls each year, and falls are the leading cause of fatal injuries. The Sense-U All-In-One activity tracker, utilizing advanced sensor technology, automatically detects dangerous activities, such as a trip, fall or other unnatural movement, then sends an alert message to family members or another 3rd party promptly.


How often do you find yourself asking your children to correct their posture? Bad posture during development introduces long-term chronic discomfort and abnormal bone growth, something any parent would want to prevent. The Sense-U All-In-One activity tracker continually monitors the postures of your children and helps improve postures over time.



The Sense-U All-in-One activity tracker intelligently tracks and recognizes various daily activities, such as walking, running, sitting, sleeping, and also monitors your daily energy expenditure and sleep quality.

Our advanced sensing and learning system further analyzes your activity patterns and continually promotes a healthier and more connected family.

After the first synchronization, the Sense-U All-In-One activity tracker automatically uploads your fitness data to Sense-U's FREE secure online account, all via the wireless base station connected to PC/Mac or smart phone (Bluetooth 4.0) with an internet connection.

Founded in Silicon Valley in California, Sense-U has a team of world-class professionals from: Yale, FrogDesign (the best industrial design company designed Apple II computer in 1982), Google, Broadcom, Microsoft, Wunderman(Best Marketing Agency), Ogilvy (4A’s Ad Agency), Publicis (4A’s Ad Agency), etc.

We've been working on Sense-U for almost 3 years and now we are proud to announce it's ready for production.

1. HOW TO USE & SET UP

1.a Where can I wear my Sense-U clip?

For 24/7 activity tracking, the clip-and-go Sense-U device is wearable the way you want. Clip it to your shirt, jacket, workout gear, backpack, or even your underwear and it stays put — whether you’re running an errand, running around the track, or laying on bed.

For posture monitoring and elderly fall detection, it is recommended to wear it above your waist for the best accuracy. Detailed instruction will be in the Quick Start Manual shipped along with the Sense-U clip.

1.b How do I get started using Sense-U?

Getting started with Sense-U takes only a few minutes.

After download and installation of the Sense-U desktop notification application, you will be prompted to create a new account; Plugging in the USB Base Station, the instruction will walk you through the procedure to sync your personal profile to your Sense-U clip.

That’s it. The Sense-U notifier will sync with your Sense-U clip wirelessly and automatically to make sure your online data is up-to-date.

1.c How to access my online data?

Your online data is always available and you can log in your FREE online account (www.sense-u.com) to view it. Over there, you can browse all your health and fitness information.

2. PURCHASE & SHIPPING

2.a What are the shipping cost?

All shipping in the U.S is free of charge. There is additional cost for international shipping. Also, there is no guarantee that this will work in your country (e.g. connectivity issues) – there are many hurdles we need to go over until we have a complete picture on the international market. If it turns out that shipment to your country proves impossible due to your local regulations, we will reimburse your order.

2.b When can I get my Sense-U?

Estimated shipping dates for the device starts in December, 2013(before Christmas). Our goal is to have the shipment sooner however we also don't want to over-promise  We promise: we are working around the clock to bring this to market, and as soon as it’s ready, it will be sent out to you.

3. PRIVACY & SECURITY

3.a What is the privacy policy of Sense-U?

We  will not share your personal information, especially user data, to anyone, for any reason, at any time. We guard your privacy to the best of our ability and work hard to protect your information from unauthorized access.

3.b Is my online data safe?

Bank-level security is employed for your safety. All communication between your Sense-U clip, the Sense-U Cloud and your smart phone is encrypted over SSL (HTTPS). User data uploaded to www.sense-u.com  is stored and encrypted using AES-256 standard.

4. TECHNOLOGY

4.a What smartphones does Sense-U support? 

We are designing Sense-U so that it will work with any web enabled device, with extra features to enhance the experience in our native app. Prior to launch, we are developing for iOS, and Android shortly after that. Sense-U will also be accessible through a mobile-friendly and tablet-friendly web app which can be accessed on any web-enabled device.
