I Spent my career in advertising, brand development and experiential marketing but my real passions are action sports, adventure and fashion. I am grateful to have seen successes during my career thus far and am now determined to do it again on my own terms.

My passions inspired both our move to the mountains of Utah and the launch of sheshreds.co. Action sports/Adventure Industries are still male dominated. I want to help create a cultural shift there-The Power of SHE. I have created a brand to wear as a badge of honor and to bring females together in a unified voice to effect change in the industry for access to the sports, R and D, retail focus and respect. Pretty and powerful. Our campaign will allow us to accelerate our reach, growth and impact. 

• Increasing our signature line inventory and distribution channels so we may service the brick and mortar and other online retailers that has asked for us by name.
  
• Design and Collaborate with other brands to create unique apparel and hard goods.
• Support more female athletes and events in action and adventure with a focus on female access as well as create learning experiences across disciplines.
• Further impact our partner retailers with focused marketing of their sheshreds.co "approved" female offerings.

We want to raise $35k (or more)

• A percentage will go to fulfilling these specialized rewards to get us cooking.
• A percentage will go to increasing our inventory and covering distribution costs to get our merchandise to more brick and mortar and online retailers that have already asked to carry us and solicit more to do the same.
• A percentage will go to enhancing our signature apparel design and working with other manufacturers and brands to create female focused goods (See Woodies collaboration perk)
• A percentage will go to supporting our sponsored athlete program and our ambassador programs that continue to grow.
• A percentage will go to supporting events that have female friendly divisions and/or to become that voice at established events to garner more female access and respect.
• If we don't reach our fund raising goal, we are confident any incremental support will allow us progression toward our goals given our existing momentum and all rewards will be fulfilled.

The Real Deal.

I started sheshreds.co for a number of reasons, most of them selfish just seeing that there was not a lot out there for girls/women in snow, wake, skate, MTB and beyond. At least there was not enough for me. I have quickly come to realize that this is bigger than me as the press wanted to hear the story and even more importantly the number of girls and women of all ages from all over the world that have reached out to be a part of Sheshreds.co. It is bigger than me and it has meaning and impact in it's infancy. I am still driven by the original passions of mine for fashion and action sports but it is so much more as I now know there are a lot of girls and women out there counting on our support and for this to be a strong voice and brand for them and their passions. We are here to impact change for girls and women in these sports and beyond.

The Risks.

We could of course fail or die on the vine, but that is simply not an option. Every aspect of our business model has been "sticky" and proven out in just our first seven months of existence. The phone keeps ringing, the orders keep coming, the meetings keep happening. The stoke keeps rising! Our challenge is really keeping up with demand to get merchandise to market, service more retailers, events, athletes and enhance our ability to communicate the message. This infusion will help us take the next steps to ensure we can do just that. We put our own hard earned money, blood, sweat and tears into this to date and have accomplished amazing things in just a blink of time. We intend and are confident we will Shred on!
