Shooz are highly innovative patented footwear that are made for traveling and allow you to mix-and-match your favorite designs, customizing your shoes for any occasion.

Shooz are made of a "Skin" and a "Sole which are detachable and interchangeable and allow you to create a style that’s perfect for you and perfect for any occasion. Whether you’re traveling, biking, running, working or just going out for a night on the town, you can carry around your flat-packed skins and customize Shooz to fit any occasion. Just choose your styles of Skin and Sole, zip them together and get going!

Shooz are made up of two different, interchangeable parts: a Shooz Skin and a Shooz Sole. Connect the ends of the skin and the sole special waterproof zipper, just like you would with a jacket. Once the zippers are linked, close the snap fastener on the heel and your Shooz are ready to go! You can customize and get creative just by choosing from the variety of skins and soles, giving you tons of footwear options for any occasion. 

You can finally stop settling on which shoes to take on a trip when there’s no more room in your suitcase. Make more space for clothes and souvenirs and still have a variety of different footwear with Shooz! Just lay the Shooz Skins flat in your luggage or backpack - EACH PAIR WILL TAKE UP THE SPACE OF A T-SHIRT.

Just unzip the skin from the sole, throw it in the wash - you’ll get a deeper cleaning and faster drying than you ever would with a regular pair of shoes. Our leathers are processed with a special waxing treatment that allows for water resistance and washing.

A nice pair of running shoes can cost over $100 a pair, and don’t even get us started on dress shoes. Stop spending a fortune and start saving with Shooz. Once you get your first pair of soles, you can create new combinations by getting new Shooz Skins at $75 and, as you increase your collection, you decrease your cost per shoe!

Research shows that the manufacturing process used to make the sole of a normal shoe is what leaves the largest carbon footprint. Luckily, by sharing one sole with different skins Shooz provides a solution to drastically decrease the number of soles produced.

 Don't worry about guessing your shoe size, we’ll send out a survey at the end of the campaign to get your size right with our smart app ShoeSize.Me. Based on a shoe which you currently own and fits perfectly our app will find your ideal fit for Shooz. The results are created through a data-driven algorithm that is based on the previous experiences of other customers. Our size recommendation draws on a database of millions of data points and includes over 1,000 brands and 20,000 shoe models.

Edoardo | Founder of Shooz

Edoardo has worked as an industrial designer in studios between New York and Milan. He has successfully designed, launched and managed Veeshoo footwear brand (www.veeshoo.com), a patented flat-packable shoe that constitutes a first step to the conception of Shooz’s idea. From 2011 to 2015 he has developed his brand in the European and Asian markets and has since licensed it so he can dedicate all of his energies on Shooz. Has been assigned the Vogue Accessory Award, for innovation in footwear design in 2012.

Flavia | Designer

Flavia, launched her own label in 2012 after apprenticing with some of the biggest names in the fashion world, including Valentino, Prada, and Vivienne Westwood. Interchangeable – Customizable – Feminine - Sustainable - are the key words of her innovative designs that match perfectly with Shooz’s philosophy. So who would better than her to design two special edition skins for the Kickstarter collection?

Giorgio | Manager

Giorgio, finance professional at a global investment firm, is the manager mind behind the Shooz project. He takes care of finance, logistics and legal issues. Without him, we would probably be bankrupt!

Risks and challenges

Risks and Challenges are a part of every business, but we’ve done our best to keep them minimal when it comes to our product. Shooz are made from some of the highest quality materials which means that we’ve got to make sure our manufacturing is done right. There is always a risk of delays when it comes to manufacturing, but we’re committed to working with the best manufacturers and product designers to bring you the best quality products. We’re dedicated to getting Shooz created and into the hands (or should we say feet) of our backers in a timely manner, which is why we strategically set our shipping dates to be realistic in order to minimize any setbacks.
