LET THE GAME BEGIN!
ABOUT THE PROJECT
White Chapel House, LLC, is ready to move forward with Slash, a “slasher” horror script that is generating raves with industry insiders. With incredible sequel potential, groundbreaking new 3D innovations, hip Hollywood cast and crew already attached, plus interest from major studios--yet utilizing low-budget filmmaking techniques such as minimal locations and community support--Slash is poised to deliver professional quality production values on a cost-conscious budget.
AN OVERVIEW OF PRODUCTION
Producers Rycke Foreman and Maria Olsen of MOnsterworks66 specialize in horror, one of the hottest genres in the film industry. Our goal is to produce top quality pictures at a low cost, maximizing market share and minimizing the financial risks.

THE INDUSTRY
In 2012, U.S. box offices grossed $10.7 billion, and worldwide box offices grossed more than $28.2 billion. The market for independent films has expanded tremendously in the last few years amounting to worldwide grosses of well over $1.5 billion. The success of 1999’s low-budget horror film, The Blair Witch Project, which earned over $248 million in worldwide revenue, revolutionized how studios and distributors look at the production and marketing of films.
THE MARKET
The horror genre is one of the most resilient and profitable markets in the industry. These films typically have faster shooting schedules and lower budgets than other genres, long shelf-lives, and boast an insatiable, loyal audience comprised of the highly coveted 18-35 year-old male demographic. Even without the benefit of major stars, horror films offer one of the best risk/reward ratios in the industry, often performing well at the box office and even better with home video and download sales.
MARKETING
Slash has dedicated pre-release fan forums to raise awareness and interest via a continuously growing Facebook Fanpage and devoted website, which will also be utilized for pre-marketing of the film, advertising campaigns during and after release. Slash also features a Zazzlestore for marketing merchandice purchases prior to the making and release of the film.
