Hello,
my name is Jana Monroe and this is my second startup. My first one
DigiThin has launched. You'll notice that some of the perks I offer
are from DigiThin.

Yes this is a social network, but you know what, social networks are not going away. Were going to need some really amazing ones in our future. You the people get to decide which ones are worth keeping around.We hope Social Strength will be one of them, after all it's a gift for humanity.
Building
Social Strength is important to me because it's all about people
helping each other, and having some fun along the way. Sometimes when we grow up we forget to have fun. Every Friday is HAPPY HOUR on Social Strength! : - ) Ohhh yahhh!
By
contributing to this campaign you will be helping people everywhere,
who seek help. You also will be creating a network where people can give help. It's a wide open data base that is not going to be limited
to drug addiction, alcoholism, food addiction or depression. It's
going to be everything in life. I think the users will be able to
shape this Social Strength Network. Let the people build it. Yet my
team and I have to build the foundation first.
What
We Need
We
are asking for 10 thousand
dollars, but in reality we
really need around 100 thousand dollars. I can tell you that I spent
50 thousand dollars on DigiThin so far from personal savings, and it
still needs more funds to grow. There can
be all kinds of cost that
come into play when
building specialty
websites.
Lawyer fee's is a big one. Developer fee's, licensee fee's just to
name a few.
To
build a social network, well that is even more complex then e
commerce site. A social network has a lot more technical complexity
to it. It's going to take at least two full time developers for six
months. Developers average pay is around 85K a year. That's average,
so if you have two people for six months, well there goes 85K just on
labor.
Like
I said above some of the perks are from DigiThin. DigiThin is a
convenient mp3 weight loss coaching product. Now if you don't need to
lose weight, maybe someone you know does, and you can give the perk
to them. It's a great
product.
If
we don't reach our goal then the funds will go into advertising
for DigiThin.

Social
Strength wants to use the VOICE as the post.(The spoken layer) One of the great things
about that is, if you're driving you can listen to the topic you want
to learn about. Lets say you want to quit smoking or you want to improve your golf swing. So you punch that
into your cell, and there you go down the road driving and you have
your cell phone playing the messages about how to quit smoking or improve your golf swing.
