The environment in which he lives shows us, with his every step, a broken and destroyed ecosystem where cannibalism is the only form of survival, a world ruined by biological, chemical, atomic warfare...with the entire planet altered. Maybe the most important change is in the animals as they suffer incredible mutations and develop an intelligence similar to that of the humans.

SOLO was, in my opinion, a comic before its time: try to imagine what would happen if you mixed the style and the characters of Tom and Jerry with the violence and the post apocalyptic setting of MAD MAX, this is SOLO and now we are ready to show him in all his glory.

This pilot episode was made with the intention of showing what we are capable of making and demonstrating that both the character and the series have strength that can attract the interest of sponsors. We would like to find sponsors or producers that are interested in him in order  to continue with the series or to embark on a full-length film.

Our intention is to have sufficient funding to create a pilot episode in which on top of Flash we can add a high quality post-production, so that the special effects, editing, and final results are so spectacular that we stop the world in their tracks.

Only if we aspire to the best  will we be able to obtain it.

Este proyecto es la adaptación a la animación del cómic SOLO (Mundo Caníbal) creado por Oscar Martín en 1.997. Fue por esos años cuándo Oscar y yo (Niko) nos conocimos y esa amistad se ha mantenido hasta la actualidad, momento en el que hemos decidido juntarnos para levantar este proyecto.

Todo empezó hace aproximadamente un año, cuando Oscar me llamó y me preguntó cómo se podría hacer para adaptar su cómic a la animación y yo le respondí:

“No tengo ni idea de cómo se podría hacer…pero lo vamos a hacer!”

Tanto Oscar como yo conseguimos hace muchos años levantar en su momento nuestras series por nuestros propios medios y con la ayuda de nuestros amigos y por eso ahora hemos decidido volver a hacerlo de la misma forma: con nuestros propios medios y con la ayuda de un montón de buenos amigos…vosotros

SOLO fue, en mi opinión, un cómic adelantado a su tiempo: intenta imaginar qué ocurriría si mezclaras el estilo y los personajes de Tom & Jerry con la violencia y la ambientación post apocalíptica de MAD MAX, eso es SOLO y hoy en día, ya estamos preparados para disfrutarlo en toda su magnitud.

Este episodio piloto se realiza con la intención de mostrar lo que somos capaces de hacer y demostrar que tanto el personaje como la serie tienen muchísima fuerza y pueden funcionar perfectamente para que sponsors, patrocinadores o productoras se interesen en él y poder continuar con la serie o embarcarnos en un largometraje.

Nuestra intención es tener la suficiente financiación como para poder realizar un piloto en condiciones en el que se pueda añadir a la animación Flash una postproducción de calidad para que, tanto en efectos especiales como en montaje, hagan que el resultado final sea lo suficientemente espectacular como para dejar a todo el mundo con la boca abierta.

Sólo si aspiramos a lo más alto podremos llegar a conseguirlo.
