Our story:
Sonas has been revolutionizing the denim industry for the past two and a half years. We originally started making jeans for festivals that we would attend around California. After a flood of great feedback about our amazing fit and style from customers and friends, we decided to build the next great denim brand right here in San Francisco - Sonas. With your help, we can do this. Join us.

It actually should be a regular practice in this world, where so many worthy causes exist.
Sonas San Francisco has a special place in our hearts for animals since they are the #1 most exploited individuals on the planet. Therefore, 10% of all of Sonas’ net profits goes to animal welfare groups.
Making Waves in the Fashion Industry

We see no reason to use animal products in the name of fashion. It’s all about looking sexy isn’t it? So why use the skin, feathers or fur of an animal to accomplish that? So, Sonas San Francisco does not use and will never use any animal products in its entire collection. We hope that our colleagues in the fashion industry follow suit.
Reducing Our Carbon Footprint

So, I know it’s hard to be the perfect company, but we do our part in trying decrease our carbon footprint as much as possible. Sonas Denim recycles everything and we waste no material. So all of our fabric cuttings are actually turned into greeting cards and other accessories, so that nothing moves on to landfill. Also, we do all our production locally here in California to decrease our use of fossil fuels and gas emissions by sending things far.
Hopes For the Future

We have high hopes. I know this might seem like we are dreaming big, but why not shoot for the stars? Our hope is that we will be in a financial position in the future to be able to fund an animal sanctuary off the California 1 Fwy coastal route somewhere between San Francisco and Pescadero. Our vision is that we will have ambassador animals there and give people a small cafe and gift shop to stop off at...maybe even a small B & B. We'll keep you posted on our progress!
These are just a few of the things we do to be part of the solution towards a better world. We hope that these practices become contageous.
