About me:
I am known as Bluestrike, a level designer who created a load of levels for the Goldsource and Source engines (Counter-strike source, Halflife 2) including the popular Insurgency Mod and my own singleplayer campaign Half-Life 2 : Awakening.
About Spheritis:
Spheritis is a 3D ball puzzle game. Its goal is to activate the exit and travel to a next level. You control a physics driver sphere, you can change its type (wood, stone, metal , ...) and equip the ball with a single special enhancement at a time (Jump, Boost, ...).
The game has been in development for over 3 years and its single player component is almost completed.
The single play campaign features 7 different ball types and 7 special enhancements, 4 difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard and Challenge Mode) and leader boards.
The game used the Unity 3D engine and will run on PC, Mac and Linux.
What this project needs:
As you can see in the videos the game is near the end of production for the single player campaign. But its not done yet and I am out of funds.
While I am not sure if I even am going to make break even on this game I still want to go on and finish the game in a proper manner.
So where will the funds go?
- Music for the game.
- Polishing of the game, buying additional assets and tools form Unity's asset store.
- Completion of the last single player levels.
- Achievements.
- Translations.
- Linux and Mac implementation.
- Save game support.
- ...
And if I raise more then the project its goal?
- Gamepad controller support.

FAQ
How far is the game a long?
Its single player component is almost completed.
Connecting multiple players works but is hardy in alpha stage.
How many levels are in the singleplayer campaign?
I plan to release with 18 levels.
The first levels can be finished rather quick and are intended to learn new abilities.
When is the game ready for release?
Since I work only half-time in order to get by, development time is hard to predict.
It is possible I release a single player version first and multiplayer as free DLC after.
Why are there no physical rewards like hats, t-shirts or figurines?
I rather use the money people contribute for my game.
What happens if you do not reach the funding goal?
I am running a dynamic campaign what means I get any money that is contributed even if I miss the goal.
Since Spheritis is already so far done you will have the game reward.
But it will not be the way I prefer to release it, probably missing some of the items that I run this campaign for. And most likely a later release.
