The Goal

We are launching "SpinDing",  a new game app that rewards you with fun and valuable prizes, from a free cheeseburger or free manicure to a free cruise or a new car, every time you play. The strategy of SpinDing is simple: Merchants get new customers and sales. You get free stuff. That's it!

SpinDing is fun and easy. You Spin. You Win. It's that simple. 

As exciting as this sounds for you, there are also immense benefits for retailers having difficulties in today's competitive landscape. We have all heard of the issues surrounding Main Street merchants closing down due to economic pressures. By rewarding customers for visiting independent businesses, SpinDing levels the competitive playing field. By including prizes from local merchants, in addition to franchises, national brands and online stores, Spinding will be played by a wide range of consumers, who will be highly incentivized to visit these stores, while creating new shopping habits and increasing store loyalties and repeat visits. In a nutshell, Spinding provides retailers with the most effective means of increasing sales that has ever been devised.

We need your help to complete the development of the program and to finish the software for deployment in early 2014. We would like to get started immediately on certain items, so if you have a Paypal account, we thank you for using that option.

Prizes

We expect an amazing range of prizes available for winning. Through a national network of sales affiliates, SpinDing will engage local and independent businesses, national chains and manufacturers to provide prizes to run on the system. SpinDing will also pay for certain "Grand Prizes" to be given away at specific intervals, ranging from cars, cruises, vacations and other high-end, high ticket items.

You might be asking "Why would merchants do this?" Why would they take valuable inventory and simply "give it away"? Well.... it's about increasing sales. Developing customer loyalty. Generating foot traffic. Every merchant has a fun, inexpensive product to use with SpinDing. They can use dated inventory, or create specific products that might need an accessory. They want to succeed and will use any sensible marketing tool available that works and is cost effective to increase their sales. Period.

In the most simple terms, SpinDing is THE most inexpensive way to increase sales that has ever been introduced into the marketplace.  By providing a prize in a game, a merchant is more likely to see the winning recipient for redemption than any other method. This includes couponing, "grouponing", advertising or any new-fangled way of getting traffic. It costs just a few cents per win for them to generate new customers, and even with the cost of the inventory, this is only a FRACTION of all other options.

It Gets Better

How cool is that? You eliminate chance and get what you want. And in this case, (above) Franks Famous Pizza gets a customer who probably will buy another slice and a soda to boot. There's an excellent chance of a repeat visit too, especially if this visit is an enjoyable one.

We are professional marketers and entrepreneurs, having launched numerous multi-million dollar companies over the last 25 years and creating jobs for thousands of people. Our specialty is database marketing, where detailed knowledge of a target audience when delivering a message increases the effectiveness and efficiency of a campaign. We have built dozens of large systems, tying offers to specific consumers and having those fulfilled electronically at the point of sale. This includes physical and electronic connections to POS register systems, even before the internet existed. The result of our projects has been a happier customer who gets value and an enjoyable shopping experience, and a more profitable manufacturer who gets more loyal customers. Our new SpinDing app is our way of focusing our expertise to help merchants under competitive pressures, by streamlining the retailer to consumer experience, and leveling the competitive playing field for large, small, brick and mortar, and Internet businesses alike.

Why is this important?

So what can we do?

We all enjoy the ease of use that the mega giant retailers present to us...whether online or just a few exits up the highway. They are convenient. They have everything. They have the prices. They have the parking. Or the free shipping.  So how can your local retailers compete against that? 

Well... one great thing about your local merchant is...well, they're local. They're closer. They have a vested interest in the community. And they have the service. (Ever try to get really personalized help at a big box store?) So, we decided we had to figure out a way to bring life back into America's downtowns. Because our life happens where we live. It matters what happens to our neighbor's business and our local community retailers. A recent study showed that when just one Main Street store with 4000 square feet goes from being occupied to vacant, the total cost to the local economy is almost $250,000  a year. That includes losses in property taxes, wages, bank deposits and loans, rent, sales and profits. Not to mention it just doesn't feel right when Main Street is empty.

Enter SpinDing!

SpinDing is the holy grail of local promotional marketing. It changes the competitive landscape without effecting profits, and it generates local traffic without a huge ad budget.  It injects FUN into customer relationships, changes customer loyalties and generates traffic for a fraction of the cost of advertising, couponing, "grouponing" or other marketing methods.

SpinDing can literally change an independent retailer's profitability overnight, while establishing a new loyal customer base eager to interact with this retailer. It's simple and fun and creates value for both the customer and the retailer.

This is how it works:

1. Merchant allocates some product inventory to "giveaways". 5 units. 25 units. 1000 units. Whatever.
2. Merchant uploads the product information into the SpinDing system. 
3. SpinDing locates a customer nearby and gives the item away as a PRIZE.
4. Customer takes the electronic voucher to the merchant for redemption.

From the customer perspective:

1. She downloads the free SpinDing Game app on her phone.
2. We give her one free spin "token" per day, that can be used to play the game daily. (or can be banked and saved up for more "spins" later)
3. She plays the game, and wins a prize. (she spins, she wins. It's that simple.)
4. She takes her phone to the store, shows the barcode to the merchant and redeems her prize. 

This is so easy it's ridiculous. The customer (YOU) are happy. You got your prize. And if the merchant knows how to merchandise, you also walk away with purchasing an accessory or in the very least he'll make it a fun experience. You will be back.  Everybody's happy.

Not only do we believe that we can revitalize Main Street, we believe that we can create a lasting business that will employ hundreds of people and make a real impact.
