THANKS!!!!
Hey everyone! We've shot 2/3 of our film and need your help to finish!
We've been shooting our feature film SPLiT and the performances and images are stunning! Some funding we were expecting did not come through and we now need your help to finish the film.
This film is focused on one woman's transformational journey and told in the midst of a collective of passionate women all giving voice to their own silenced stories.
Being in the process of making my third film in a trilogy of stories exploring the silencing of women's voices and dreams, I've come to realize not only how hard it is to get our voices heard, but how essential it is. I have had the priviledge of receiving emails and letters from women all over the country who have seen my films and thanked me for telling their stories. It gives me courage and strength to keep pushing forward.
Help me finish this film and lets show the world that we want real stories about real women. Stories that reflect our struggles and triumphs, our dreams and our humanity. Stories that are told truly from our perspective. The world needs our voices!
More about the film
SPLiT at it's core is a film about figuring out how to really love someone. Both loving someone else and learning how to love all the parts of yourself, even the things you'd rather hide or lock away.
It focuses on the trasformational journey of a young actress who is cast in an experimental play based on an ancient myth, "The Descent of Inanna." The deeper she goes into the role, the more challenging it becomes for her to distinguish between the play, her relationships outside of the theater and the volatile realm of her inner life.
Cast
As a filmmaker, my process is really to nurture the actors and push them into new and dangerous territory. All of the performances are daring and brilliant.
Our cast is an ensemble of incredibly talented upcoming and seasoned actors. In addition to our lead roles we have a chorus of 40 women and 4 men and a large handful of supporting roles all filled with insanely brilliant and passionate performers.
AMY FERGUSON- The Master, Garden State, Tanner Hall
MORGAN SPECTOR - Burning Blue, Musical Chairs, Zero Hour, Orange is the New Black
ANNA MOUGLALIS - Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky, Gainsbourg
FREDRIC LEHNE - Zero Dark Thirty, Men in Black, The Dark Knight Rises
ANTONIA CAMPBELL-HUGHES - Albert Nobbs, Bright Star, The Other Side of Sleep

What We Need
We are at a critical stage of production and really need your help. We’re halfway done with shooting and need your help to get us in the can. Thank you so much for any support you can give to this project. We offer a lot of cool stuff in exchange for your donation, so please consider supporting us and spreading the word.
The Impact
SPLiT is a film that has lived inside me for over 10 years. "The Descent of Innana," the play in which our actress Amy and the chorus of 40 amazing women performed in the Brooklyn warehouse is a 5000 year old story that has been silenced for all these years and who's time has come.
I have this image of the power of our 40 women turning into the power of 4,000 women, or 40,000 women or more! It woud be amazing if we could create a groundswell of women and our male allies insisting our voices and stories be told and heard.
Other Ways You Can Help
Please get the word out. We are trying to blow the roof off this campaign in three days so we can get back to shooting right away.
