$75 for drum sounds recorded by two professional industrial music guys.
It's time for Stiff Valentine to record our third studio record, but we need your help!
We want to continue to incorporate lots of live instrumentation with our heavy industrial sound, so we are going to record drums at Soundhouse in Seattle, and need to make back the $600 that we spent to make the studio session happen.
Here is the deal; the more you donate, the more you get back as a supporter. If we can obtain over the $600 goal, we will record acoustic versions and mix an additional version of the album in 5.1 sound.
The Loops, and Surround Sound Perk is great for our fans who are on the look-out for new drum loops, samples, and synth sounds. We will include all the drums sounds (one shot samples, loops, and multi-tracks) from the album. That way you can load them into your drum trigger, sound replacement tool, or DAW to use on your next project. Drum machine and synth parts will also be included. You have full permission to use these files and loops for anything you want; music, film, video games, whatever!
The drums will be played by Jason Bazinet (SMP, 16volt, Front Line Assembly). All the recording, editing and technical stuff will be done by "Loud" Chris DeMarcus (16volt, Chemlab, FLA). http://deathproofmusic.com/
Other ways you can help: Money isn't everything. If you could let other fans and potential fans know about this project, we'd love you like a boss! Get your grandpa to donate. He likes acoustic records, right!?
What if you make over $600? Funds will go to additional recording costs, album production, and artwork. We plan to spend over $5,000 on the record alone.
