Short Summary
Daryl Patrishkoff, Owner and Chief Engineer, Performance CNG, LLC

Daryl has over 40 years of designing, engineering, building, testing and validating vehicles for the US domestic and multiple international markets. Performance CNG, LLC is a new company startup that focuses on shattering the various paradigms about the application of Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) used in real vehicles. We are the guys that do "weird stuff" in applying CNG to many different types of vehicles.
Core Technical Team http://www.performcng.com/index_files/Page388.htm
Our technical team has developed multiple CNG Bi-Fueled vehicles and have funded our own Research and Development of this 2003 Street Legal Mustang Muscle Car to automotive engineering standards. We proved the point that you do not lose horsepower in utilizing CNG as a fuel.
This project funding is to take this Bi-Fuel Mustang to the next level by actually increasing horsepower over the gasoline baseline. This requires higher performance CNG components, engine calibration refinements on the Dynamometer and formal EPA 75 test and validation data to prove our results. We will create a formal engineering documentation package that complies to the global automotive ISO/TS 16949 standards.
What We Need & What You Get
We developed this vehicle with my personal funding, volunteers, local automotive company sponsors, friends and family. We debut the vehicle at our local Woodward Dream Cruise and have had multiple articles written up on the vehicle and a live TV interview.
Since then we have presented the CNG value proposition and the Mustang at multiple universities, community colleges, high schools, industry seminars and multiple alternative energy events.
We are soliciting a minimum of $55,000 to fund this next step, any money raised above this baseline will be used to further advance the technology and improve the performance of the vehicle.
$15,000 for high performance CNG components
$10,000 engineering development time on the Dynamometer
$30,000 EPA 75 Testing and validation for emissions, MPG and horsepower
The Impact
Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) is being used in over 15 million vehicles around the world, it has seen slow acceptance in the US. The US fleets have embraced CNG due to savings in fuel and maintenance costs. Local communities have gone to CNG for busses because of the reduction in emissions helping the environment.
Why does the US only have 120,000 CNG vehicles?
The US is the Saudi Arabia of natural gas and using this fuel in our vehicles can directly lead to US energy independence. The value proposition of CNG used in vehicles is:
40% the price of gasoline at the pump
Spews 25-30% less emissions than gasoline
US provided fuel with the creation of many jobs
Other Ways You Can Help
Just getting the word out about this tehnology and approach will help us as a country leading to a fuel that spews less emissions, leads to energy independence and creating meaningful jobs for our economy.
