Hello Friends, Family, and Strangers!
Tape Deck Mountain is almost done with our 2nd full length record titled Sway! Unfortunately I (Travis) could use some extra cash to help put the finishing touches on this Masterpiece. The hard part is over, all the songs are recorded and done! We just need some help in getting the album released in proper fashion! We are looking to raise 4000 to get the album produced in a physical format and some other loose ends (Mastering, Promotion, Etc.)
If we raised the full amount we will be print the album on Vinyl, CD, & Cassette! Along with giving it a proper mastering job and promotion campaign, bringing it to the masses!
At the very least we will be printing the album on CD! If you donate you will have access to a physical copy!
Here are some links to a couple tracks on the Album!
Album background

Our 2nd LP is 11 songs proper and our strongest work to date! Most of the album was written and rehearsed during my year long stint in Austin, TX. During that year I rehearsed and performed with John Momberg (whom played some amazing drums! and helped arrange the songs!) and Dan Alvarez (whom layed down some solid bass!). The drums and bass were tracked to 2" tape by Matt Oliver at Big Orange Studios in Austin and sound beautiful! We bounced down what we had to a hard drive and took it back to my hometown in San Diego, CA to finish things up with Brandon Jenson of American Sound Studios. I have since begun living in Queens, NY and working at the local coffee shop. I'm going to stop here and not give you typical starving artist story (we've all heard it!). But rest assured I live a very frugal lifestyle and the money raised from IndieGoGo will not be taken lightly!
Tape Deck Mountain Story
For those of you new to Tape Deck Mountain let me give a short timeline. I (Travis Trevisan) started the band in 2009 as vehicle for songs I write with the aide of a revolving cast of musicians helping out and contributing. Since then the band has released 1 Full Length Album & 3 EPs. We have toured the West Coast numerous times and circled the US and pockets of Canada last summer for 35 days. Hitting up music festivals such as SXSW, NXNE, & CMJ over the years. Since our first full length we have worked with Lefse Records and garnered press from heavy weights such as Pitchfork Media, Filter Magazine, Vice, Stereogum, and Fader among others.
Needless to say this next record could be the triumph of Tape Deck Mountain's career, if done right!
Regardless I'm very proud of it artistically and believe it is the bands best and most focused work to date! I am very excited to share it with many amazing people in this world!
Please consider supporting Tape Deck Mountain and Myself on this artistic journey!
Sincerly, Travis & TDM
