Making an "ultra-low budget" film has its
challenges, but with your contributions the funding will help us be prepared
when those challenges arrive.
The Birdwatcher is an ambitious project that we are planning
to make for a humble budget. Thankfully, all of the professionals on our team
will be generously donating their talents and expertise for very little
compensation. However, making a movie requires many unavoidable expenditures,
including:
·
Production Insurance to protect our cast, crew
and equipment
·
Securing locations to film
·
Necessary permits for filming
·
Costumes, make-up and props
·
On-set catering
·
Marketing and publicity
·
Film Festival submission fees
Every penny we raise inches us closer to shooting this movie
– no donation is too small. Whatever your reason for giving, please make sure
you let us know so that we can personally thank you each in a special way.
