Sports revolution fuelling a social Evolution (Our Crowd funding started late, so we have extended the date in order to reimburse the funds that we have borrowed to make the trip a possibility)

Since its introduction in 2011 Floorball has captivated the hearts and minds of many
youths in Jamaica, especially those from the inner-City areas in Kingston. The dream is to travel to Canada to take part in the Qualifications for the Men’s Floorball world Championships January 31 –February ,2 2014.

The power of sport has allowed these youths to create their own path to success. Push to their limits to prepare and fund their dream of representing their family, communities and country. External support is needed to turn this dream into a reality.

What is needed

The Player needs $20,000 USD to add to funds they have raised to cover cost for 24
Plane tickets, accommodation, food and traveling to and from games whiles in Canada.

These 24 youths from 17 different inner-city communities which are normally at odds with each other realize that their dream might not become a reality and thus started
to donate money that they have saved to fund themselves to other players who
they believe might have a better chance of assisting the team to win.

Any excess funds collected will be donated to the Jamaica Floorball Association to assist in the development of floorball in Jamaica.

The Impact

The success of this venture will resonate in every inner-city community across Jamaica creating confident in the youths within that can see themselves in each of the players that are on the team. Join us in building and glorifying the right attributes
of these youths.

Having Jamaica being represented at the Floorball World Championships in Gothenburg Sweden,December 2014 will be the biggest milestone for Floorball in Jamaica and the Caribbean.
