DREAM SWING 2013

    Hello, my name is Joe Beal, some of you may know me as Sexy Situation. I am an artistic welder and a single dad of three amazing kids. We live in beautiful Bend, Oregon. I have been welding and creating for many years. In the past most of my work has been custom cars, bicycles, and welding and fabricating for skateboard parks. In 2002 I had one of my custom bicycles featured in Lowrider car magazine.

    In 2012 after having a dream about building a 25' high pendulum swing, I got the project funded here on Indigogo and was able to see my swing project on the playa (my virgin burn) making my dream a reality!
 
    As I was setting the swing up on the playa my wheels started turning as to what I would be doing to the swing next year!

    Since Burning Man 2012 I have begun creating aerial rigs, fire performance props, playa bikes, circus equipment, and some Custom Lighting...

    By helping fund the Dream Swing project you will not only be helping me make another dream come true. You will also be helping me share the love with all on the playa once again. 

                                                     

    My vision is to expand the Dream Swing and build it into an intergalactic bus stop on the esplanade. It will be six feet taller making the entire swing 30 feet tall, it will have ornate benches at all four corners, multiple bars rising from the benches to the top of the swing covered in LED lights, 8400 LED lights making it even more of a beacon of light on the playa.

     Expanding on my vision I will create a place to rest and relax before heading off on your next adventure as well as create love and light on the playa...There is just something so romantic about swinging together.

    It was so fantastic hearing people talk about using the dream swing as a beacon to guide themselves around the playa in 2012, as well as grow loving friendships with new people while swinging...

    By helping fund the Dream Swing in 2013 you will make it possible to purchase the steel, electrical wiring, LED drivers/power supplies, LED light strips, powder coating and painting of new steel pieces, supplies to make cushions for the benches and swing, welding wire and gas, supplies to fix up the trailer that will get the swing to the playa this Year..

    The Dream Swing project has already been blessed with the gifting of a 6' x 16' flat bed trailer to set up for hauling the swing. So amazing!!

 
    If the Dream Swing is not fully funded in the next 38 days you will all get your money back and all the people will be sad!
