It all started in 1994, at the initiative of several doctors who started offering free medical consultations in a small apartment.

In a short time, the number of patients and of doctors involved increased, and there was a need for a larger space.

Fortunately, not only patients and doctors were attracted by the project, but also individual donors and organizations, among which, we have to mention the Congregation of Sisters of the Christian Doctrine, who really took our project in their hearts. With their help, we were able to construct a modern building, suitable for our activity.

It's almost 20 years now, since the Clinic offers FREE consultations, services and medication for the sick and needy people in the area of Cluj, Romania.

All doctors generously offer their services voluntarily in 14 specialties (cardiology, dermatology, surgery, ecography, endocrinology, gynecology, internal medicine, general medicine, neurology, ophthalmology, ORL, orthopedics, psychology, psychiatry), and we also offer free medication for the prescriptions given by our doctors.

Since we started, more than 160.000 consultations have been made, and more that 115.000 medicine prescriptions have been given.

The Clinic would celebrate it's 20th anniversary in march 19, 2014, but unfortunately, the main donor, the Congregation of Sisters of the Christian Doctrine, due to financial limitations, will withdraw their support  starting from January 2014.

But we believe this work must continue.

The costs of running the clinic are 7500 dollars/month.

With the 22.500 dollars we ask (23.400 minus 936 the indiegogo fee), we will maintain the activity of the clinic for 3 months, serving approximately 1500 free consultations and the medicines prescribed. 

As the doctors are working voluntarily and the building is in our property, your money would be spent on medicines, maintenance of the building  and other patient related costs for the average 500 patients/month.

We can't do it without your help.

If we do not reach our target, we will have to reduce our activity according to our budget, or, which we hope it won't happen, close the activity completely.

If we exceed our money target, which we really hope we do, then we can help even more people, by extending the activity hours, by buying more medicines and of course, by covering the costs for a longer period of time.
