The Vision

I want this book in the hands of as many people as possible.  To that end, I want to publish through a process that allows the book to get into the big bookstores.

• This will allow better promotion for the book.
• This will provide more speaking opportunities about the content of the book.
• This will achieve my goal of getting more people to grow spiritually.

The Reason

I want to make an impact by getting this book into as many hands as possible.

• Traditional publishers can be hard to work with.
• They don't allow for much control maintained by the author.
• The publisher will only try to get your book in stores if it's top tier (highly profitable) quality.

This particular publisher (Westbow) provides things that traditional publishers don't.

• They will work to get the book in stores.
• They will set up social networking.
• They will work to promote the book in ways I can't or don't have time for.
• There is a chance for Thomas Nelson publishers to discover my book through publishing under their child publishing division.

The Impact

I feel that many Christians are unclear as to the power of the gospel of Jesus Christ and have become distracted by things that aren't of most importance.  I want to point people back to what really matters.  I want to show the "betterness" of the gospel.

• This book will reach people who don't believe and present the gospel to them.
• It will reach people who already believe and awaken them to the power of the gospel beyond salvation.
• It will turn people who have lost focus of the gospel back to Jesus.
• People will begin to walk more closely with Jesus as they see who they are supposed to be in Him.

Ways You Can Help

Obviously, since I have created this campaign to raise funds, it would greatly help to have financial contributions.  Some people just can’t contribute, but that doesn’t mean they can’t help:

• It doesn't cost anything for you to promote the book and the fundraising campaign on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms.
• Prayer is huge.  Pray that I would remain within God's will, that I would not do anything out of selfish ambition, and that people would be impacted by my message.
• Consider speaking engagements at your church, club, or other venue where I can tell people about the power the gospel can have in their lives.
