I am Nora Huszka, an artist from Hungary, I live in Berlin but at the moment I am traveling through Italy, the birthplace of the Tarot Cards, to complete my project.

The idea is to combine three things to create something unique: my arts, tarot cards and YOU. This project is in my heart, because I find it very important that art and magic can get some space in everyday life to make it more beautiful and colourful.

I put a lot of energy into this project for the past years and we are very close to complete it together on Indiegogo!

I am drawing for many years and I read the tarot cards as well. These things supported my life and at one point there were ready to support each other too. I flicked through my pictures and I realized they will find their perfect places as tarot cards. My aim was to create a whole tarot card deck, 78 cards, in high, artistic, handmade quality while keeping the traditional meaning of the Rider Waite Tarot.

I dug deeper in the meanings to find the perfectly matching picture and of course, I had to create lots of new versions. I had to create the design to the cards, choosing colours, drawing a frame, making the pictures ready to print on the computer, creating a special handmade font for them and write the names on each of them in four languages (English, German, Italian, Hungarian) and so on.

It was all worth it. Now they are ready to communicate with You and to come alive in your hands.

I am proud of them and I would be pleased if You feel like being a part of making it come true.

About The Gypsy Palace Tarot philosophy

I choose the name The Gypsy Palace for this deck, for two reasons: first, because the colours, the atmosphere of my pictures has a flavour of the gypsy art, and secondly, because card reading has a great tradition in gypsy culture. The gypsy culture has its roots in India, but made a long journey through Spain and eastern Europe and so on, that is why it became a very strong, vivid culture. As travelers, their palace was not a building, but their well kept tradition, like fortune telling and card reading.

So use The Gypsy Palace Tarot card deck as a tool to get in contact with your inner self, motivations, hopes or fears. It is a free chosen way- inspires your imagination, relaxes your mind and like a little ritual, brings you out of the routine. Give yourself a chance to open for little magic and get started on the adventurous way to know yourself!

Ich bin Nora Huszka, ein Künstler aus Ungarn, ich wohne in Berlin, aber im Moment reise ich durch Italien, die Geburtsstätte der Tarot-Karten, um mein Projekt abzuschließen.

Die Idee ist, drei Dinge zu kombinieren, um etwas Einzigartiges zu schaffen: meine Kunst, Tarotkarten und Dich. Dieses Projekt ist in meinem Herzen, weil ich es sehr wichtig finde, dass Kunst und Magie mehr Platz im Alltag bekommt.

Ich bin seit vielen Jahren am zeichnen und ich lese auch die Tarot-Karten. Diese Dinge unterstützten mein Leben und nun können beide einander unterstützen. Ich schaute durch meine Bilder und habe erkannt, dass sie perfekt zu den Tarot-Karten passen. Mein Ziel war es, eine ganze Tarot Kartenspiel, 78 Karten, in hoher, künstlerischen, handgemachter Qualität zu schaffen, während Ich die traditionelle Bedeutung aus dem Rider Waite Tarot Karten beibehalte.

Ich grub tiefer in den Bedeutungen, die perfekt passenden Bilder zu finden und natürlich musste ich viele neue Versionen erstellen. Ich musste das Design mit den Karten erstellen, die Farben auswählen, einen Rahmen gestalten, erstellung einer speziellen handgefertigten Schrift und die Namen auf jeden von ihnen in vier Sprachen (Englisch, Deutsch, Italienisch, Ungarisch).

Es war es wert. Jetzt sind sie bereit, mit Ihnen zu kommunizieren und können in Ihre Händen lebendig werden.
