The Juror is a short film written and directed by Sioned Jones and produced by Jonas Babics. The Juror began life as a short piece of theatre in an evening of collected short plays presented under the title, "Pub" at the Union Theatre, London in 2006.
The play was very well received by the audience and got great reviews from 'Time Out' and 'The Stage' amongst others. This inspired Sioned to seek another life for the piece onscreen.
This project marks Sioned and Jonas' film-making debut. They bring great passion to the project and their goal is to create a really high quality piece of cinematography. They are investing considerable time and effort to ensure they achieve this, by bringing together a uniquely talented and experienced cast and film-making crew.

What's the Story?
The Juror walks into a pub and sits alone for his lunch recess. He happens to overhear Mickey and his friends discussing the fate of their mate, Dave, who is in court. They believe he is innocent as the crime seems so out of character, but they understand that without an alibi, things look pretty hopeless. Mickey lets slip he knows that Dave actually does have an alibi, but what can he do if telling the truth is more dangerous than serving time?
Your Contribution
We are making The Juror on a very low budget. Nobody is being paid to work on the film and we are trying to keep the costs as low as possible. However, we need to cover expenses for everybody involved. Your contribution will help us to make the film and will be used for the following expenditure. If we do not reach the entire goal of the Indiegogo campaign prior to the shoot, we will continue our fundraising campaign post-production.

The Team
Writer/Director Sioned Jones has been a professional actress for over twenty years and brings her experience of the industry and network of talented acting contacts to the project. The Juror is her debut as a director.
Producer Jonas Babics has produced various TV commercials and has also organised media buying across Europe for commercials. He brings experience of the business side of the industry to the project.
Co-Producer Nadia Matthews brings her vast production experience on TV commercials and short films. Her industry network has helped us secure key members of the crew.
Director of Photography Stuart Dunn has travelled the world with his camera and has shot for prestigious broadcasters such as the BBC and National Geographic and has also worked on numerous commercials and dramas.
