HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF THE VAMPIRE? 

FRANCE, OCTOBER 1942

A lonely castle sits on a mountain just beyond the French countryside that holds not just a dark secret, but a servant of evil. Follow the paths, arm yourself, and prepare for your encounter with The Lady of Castle De La Mort. 

A vampire horror-comedy inspired from the works of Gene Wilder's and Mel Brooks's classic film "Young Frankenstein".  We are shooting the film in Black and White, with the goal to make this feel like a long lost comedy that we always needed.

Your friendly neighborhood indie-filmmaker. Ty is an award-winning comedic film writer and producer from the Buffalo, NY film community. After his first feature film, "ALIVE: THE UNDEAD"; he switched into writing sub-genre features and shorts like "THE AGENTS", "NOT ANOTHER MONSTER MOVIE", "LITTLE GREEN PEOPLE", as well as creating and co-writing the most recent film "SLASHER DAYS OF SUMMER". He often works on production crews to help assist other directors and does acting as well.

MEET THE VAMPIRE

ANNMARIE BAHNY! 

Annmarie Bahny is a Western New York actress that has been in over a dozen of locally produced features like "Frankenstein's Patchwork Monster", "Slime City Massacre", "Diary of a Lunatic", "Slasher Days of Summer", and many more. She has helped out on crew for other projects and also had assisted in a charity group TERROR TECHNOLOGIES (where dedicated members of the community would be zombified to raise money or food donations for local events and organizations to help the community). 

What We Need & What You Get

We are looking to raise funds to help us shoot the feature film, which will be aimed for release of summer 2026.

WHAT WE HAVE:

We are using a Canon C300 M1 cinema camera with a Helios lens to give a vintage feel to the film. Our lighting, sound, and other camera equipment are recycled from previous films that we have used them on.

Donovan Gale (Rise of the Z Team)

Donovan is a rising director/actor for the western NY region with his co-operated production company Warehouse 47. His festival debut was a well awarded short film "NOKK", which was a collaboration and formation for the soul team of his production group. His current short film "RISE OF THE Z TEAM" is just about wrapped in the local area and is on track to release later in the year. We are grateful for him to step in as our First Assistant Director on this production.  Donovan joins the supporting cast as Constable Frunk, a superstitious lawman of the village that lives in fear of the vampire in the castle.  

GABRIELLE NUNZIO (Slasher Days of Summer)

Gabrielle joins the supporting cast as the character CELINE, the vampire hunter that has been hired by the village. Celine is the bastard daughter of the legendary and late Van Helsing, who is dedicated to exterminating all creatures of darkness from the world.  Gabrielle has starred in NOKK, Slasher Days of Summer, Rise of the Z Team, Jane & The Brain, Frenzy Moon, and many more! 

Sultan Sallaj (Slasher Days of Summer)

Sultan is a recurring supporting comedic actor from our feature films, this time playing as the barkeep in the village just south of the castle. 

LYDIA MANSON

Lydia joins the supporting cast as the role of Mary! She will be joining the other vampire hunters in pursuit of taking the castle.  Her recent works include Macabre Mountain, The Vord, .Dot, Reunion from Hell 2, and many more (Including the very exciting upcoming feature HELLSGATE, which has pre-production merch available online too)!  

COURTNEY MARY

Courtney joins the supporting cast as THE MERCHANT, lurking in the forests near the castle. She is a Western NY local actress that has been part of the community for the last decade, we are grateful to have her in such a fun role. Be warned about the full moon! 

GENO DELMARO (Slasher Days of Summer)

It is hard to find a local production in the last two years that has not involved the local comedic actor Geno Delmaro. Geno's recent works include Angelfish, Slasher Days of Summer, Captain Isotope & The Enemy of Space, Fumbducks, and many more! Geno has joined the supporting cast in a secret role of the film. 

AMELIA FAVATA

Amelia joins the supporting cast for the role of ZARA the Gypsy! Will you be sent to stay in the village, or to your death at the castle!? Only Zara will tell you (for a price). Amelia is a welcomed addition to our team and brings a ton of comedy to this role. She has been in local productions like "Lonely Bananas", "Slasher Days of Summer", "Ragdoll Assassin", "Clowns in the Woods", and many more!
