Short Summary
The Last Take is a short drama written by Alex
Donovan. The film takes audiences through the struggles of a young man named Bert, as he attempts to fill the void left by the death of his older brother Frank.
When Bert's sister Lisa pays him an unexpected visit, her constant prying forces him to deal with his unresolved feelings.

MAAC 4001 is an advanced film production
class at the University of New Brunswick. We are an enthusiastic group of talented students from varying film backgrounds who plan on working
in the film industry.
“The Last Take” has
gone through workshops and re-writes; we are now in the process of taking it
from the pages to the screen.
Every dollar you donate will not only help
us put out a high quality product, but will also help to feed
the dreams of 6 passionate artists.
What We Need & What You Get
With your help we will be able to rent professional equipment, pay our actors, keep the cast and crew well fed, and share our film through national and international film festivals.
Paying the actors is a priority for us. We
value giving back and showing support to a group of people who are very
important to the Fredericton film community.
