What's this book about?
This book will feature unique concert photographs from the 70s and 80s, most of which have never been published before. They were taken at the Olympen venue in Lund, Sweden, where the biggest stars of the time came to play.
Among the performers were: Paul McCartney & Wings, Black Sabbath,
Kiss, Queen, Depeche Mode, The Clash, ABBA, Bette Midler, Alice Cooper, Roxy
Music, Miles Davis, Slade, Sweet, AC/DC, The Faces, Patti Smith, The Jam, T.
Rex, Lou Reed, David Lee Roth, Bo Diddley, The Mission, Elvis Costello, Status Quo, Frank
Zappa, Eurythmics, Human League, Bob Dylan, Herbie Hancock, The Ramones, Eric
Clapton, The Kinks – and many more.
Music memories in text and images
Thousands of music lovers have strong
memories from these concerts, and we will present some of those memories in
text and images. The main focus will be the artists and their stage
performances. The book will feature unique images
from news archives, individuals and the concert promoter Julius himself.
Whether you were there or not, let us take you on a nostalgic journey into this
musical era!
Let's show these photos to the world!
We have access to a huge archive with photos from the main newspapers in
the region. At the time, the papers would cover the concerts and publish one or
two pictures with each article or review, while the rest of the material has
remained unseen by the public.
With your support, these photos can now be scanned, printed and shown to
a wide audience for the very first time!

About us
Lönegård & Co is a small graphic design company in Lund, Sweden. We are experienced book creators, but this is our first attempt at producing a book of our own without a publishing house involved. Your support means a lot to us!
Funding
If we reach our goal of €25,000 we will have enough funds to cover printing, shipping and some other external costs associated with the production of the book. Our own remuneration lies further down the line, if we exceed the goal. This means we are taking the risk of not getting paid for the work we put into the project. But as long as we reach the funding goal, the production can start, suppliers will be paid and the book will be printed.
We have chosen to launch the project through Indiegogo since this is a reliable platform where you can use secure credit card or PayPal payments. If we do not reach the funding goal, your contribution will be refunded – so you are not taking any risk.
We cannot do this without your help!
