TOUR FUNDING
Dear Friends,
We've been making records and touring for many years now, and we've never once considered asking our fans and friends to help us financially. We've always battled through and made it on our own. However, being that things are continuing to change in the industry, the time has now come to ask for your help...
If you don't already know, we are THREAT SIGNAL, a detuned, syncopated, melodic metal machine, who combines the complexity of thrash metal, with a more contemporary groove sound involving technical rhythms, and melodic musical passages. We are a very hard working 4 piece band from Canada, signed to Nuclear Blast who wants to continue to bring our music to the fans, and new fans alike.
WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
We've recently confirmed two tours for the rest of 2013. The first tour will take place in North America along side the great metal band CHIMAIRA beginning mid July. The second tour is set in Europe along side metal band THE AGONIST beginning in October. However the guarantees are very low, and the expenses are very high, so we wont be able to make the tours work without your help. We know you've been asking us to play in your city, and these 2 tours are great opportunities to get us back out for our fans. So please help support!
SO WHAT'S THE DEAL?
We are hoping to raise $15,000 to cover a fraction of the tour expenses which include gas, tolls, transportation, parking, flights, per diems to eat, agent fee, the occassional hotel to shower in and bills at home while touring just to name a few. Gas prices suck balls these days which makes touring almost impossible to do, and even more expensive than ever. We aren't in a tour bus, we have no crew, we manage our own tours, we drive ourselves and we sleep in the van most nights. So we are not asking for your help because we want luxury. We only want to get back out there for the fans and play the music we love to play! We are okay with touring just to be on stage and rock out with all you crazy motherfuckers even if we break even! So we came up wiith some cool perks for you to hang out with us on the road, and if you cant, we'll mail you some cool signed stuff!
We work very hard, and tour as cheap as possible by doing everything ourselves with no crew, we load our own gear, tour managing ourselves, take shifts driving, and sell our own merch. Who needs to sleep right?!
We don't give up because we love touring, playing music and bringing that music to our fans. So with with your help, we can acheive that goal and bring our music around the world.

Even if you can't contribute to our campaign, we would ask you to share this campaign through social media with the Indiegogo share tools. You can also let your friends and family know about THREAT SIGNAL and ask them to listen to our music, and ask them to check us out on both tours. Spreading the word would mean so much!
