Short Summary

• My name is Pauline Egan and I am an Australian actress living in North America. This is my first time writing/directing/producing a project and I think this one is very special and unique.
• My film 'Through the Pane' is a black and white, silent film about facing our fears of imperfections and flaws and having the courage to let ourselves be loved for who we are. The film centres around Lewis (played by Louis Ferreira) and Annabelle (played by Pauline Egan) who live in apartments opposite each other and one day begin a conversation through hand written notes. Window coffee comes next, then window dinner, but the universe throws them a curveball through a chance meeting on the street that they didn't expect. A couple of twists are thrown your way!!
• So far most of the funding has come out of my own pocket and I need more funding to complete the project, anything at all that you can do to support my project will mean the world to me!!! :)

What We Need & What You Get

• I need at least $2500 to fund this film. I have so far had some support from executive producers, but as it stands most of the $$ has come out of my pocket (which has been a bit of a struggle).
• Anyone who donates over $500, will receive opening credits as an 'Executive Producer'. Anyone who contributes $250 will receive closing credits as an 'Executive Producer'. Anyone who contributes $125 will be given 'Associate Producer' closing credits.
• If I don't reach the end $$ goal, I will still create something beautiful. I will still finish editing the film, it may just take a little bit longer while I pull together some more funding, but rest assured it will be a beautiful and impactful film regardless.

The Impact

• This film is valuable to any one who chooses to contribute, because it is being made in an unusual and beautiful way. The film is shot in Black and White and the only sound is the beautiful piano score surrounding the lead character Annabelle who is a Pianist.
• This is my first short film I've ever written/produced/directed however I have been an actress in film and TV for a long time, and I know this film is something special.
• I have never watched a film quite like 'Through The Pane' so I am excited to share this beautiful piece with the world, and give some people courage and hope towards loving themselves for who they really are (which is the journey of the characters in the film).
